ClutchFans Game Thread: Lakers @ Rockets 4/26/2026 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 4)

We never had a healthy KD in this year's playoffs and he will be 38 next year after playing 78 out of 82 games this year. No FVV and Adams missed most of this year. Basically down 3 starters for the entire playoffs.

Will they ship KD? No. Will they fire Ime? No. Will Stone get fired? Possibly... we should have made a move knowing the situation or not took the risk in totality to be in this situation.

I'm for sure players will be traded. DFS signing makes Stone look worse versus trading for KD imo. We will see what happens.

 

He's a FA next season?

 

Sengun seems to be the only player showing any heart.

At least he has significantly increased his trade value.

 

One of these dudes have to be out of there, hopefully all three, but F it I'll settle for one.

stone will only send him to a contender and attach a 1st rounder.

he will receive some oladipo style player with a high contract and some scrubs… waive them immediately.

Glad he's out for tonight. Rockets basically saying "youre done here not even going to give a chance to do any more damage to the team and/or repair your image".

There is just no way this dude can be back next season. Hopefully Reed goes out guns blazing. Jabari and Amen have been the only players worth a **** this series. Not even sure if I'd want the young guys to try and mount a furious comeback this series because then Ime might be back.

I remember those discussions and claims of deepest bench in the league...whahahaha. We literally have the worst shooters I've ever seen collectively.

 

Have to hope for a miracle or maybe the Lakers lose focus and start playing with their meat.

Sengun grow a pair of man testicles and sets a real pick it's a wide open look for Reed. Reed covered he deals the quick pass to Sengun who's got the advantage going downhill. He's got outlets weakside if needed/open.

Run a ****ing play for sh!ts sake.

I think it’s best for these guys to play this game without KD. there’s probably even some chance that they win tonight and the Lakers close us out in five. These games without Durant will be valuable for them next year.

 

So is the HC of the rockets going to get any flack for playing his starters the highest minutes in the league.?

Or are we gong to give him another excuse for a problem he helped create

 

If it was the Astros, we would think the opposite, and he's gone for 2 years.
