And I'd bet that big trade last year for Travis Hunter will not age well

Aaaaaaaand now begins the long wait for training camp news and pre-season stuff. Astros and Rockets aren't going to make that wait any easier.

I would guess Brevin over Stover since Brevin has a different skill set than the other TEs .

Stover has been hurt and has returned in a game or two. Jordan has missed around 24 regular season games in his 3 years here (averages out to missing half of each season).

Brevin wont make it out of training camp. Maybe he proves everyone wrong and stays healthy.

I think this OL has potential to punch back, and that’s what the Texans have been needing for quite a while. One thing a lot of folks have said of new additions is that they bring in a layer of nastiness, usually lacking in past Texans OL’s.

And we all know the Defensive linemen in the NFL are relentless. The duty of an OL is to wear out the Defense, especially before they take out your running back and your quarterback. Offensive linemen are notorious dishing the last cheap shot; because the NFL trenches is not for the weak of stomach.

    1) Hypothetical: would you swap a 2027 4th to AZ for Trey Benson and a 2027 5th?

    2) I would not be adverse to adding another veteran edge rusher (or re-signing Derek Barnett)

    3) Anther hypothetical: would you trade IOL Eli Cox to Miami for CB Miles Battle? some of y'all may need to look them up b/c I already see the confused looks...

    4) do you think BDN is still interested in Martin Emerson (CLE)?

    1- Maybe.
2 - I like Barnett, bring him back or maybe look at JC.
3 - Sure, I think Eli has potential, but doubt he gets a shot with our adds inside.
    4 - No sure.

JC makes no sense. We just spent the draft adding only team captains with strong work ethics. We got rid of Tunsil because he had the same work ethic as Clowney. Joey Bosa makes more sense to add

i think Mapu makes it. Afterall, he is a recently drafted third round tweener who can help in light LB packages and backup JP as nickel. I don’t know why they would trade for him if he wasn’t going to make the team. D@mn the low cost, no way we would do that simply to benefit the Putz (Pats). Right? Hopefully, I’m right? I think he makes it.

TBF, BDN has a record of trading for players who don't make the team (e.g. Ben Skorownek)
