Ingenious to fake a shooting to bolster his ‘need’ for his ballroom/opulent safe room that he and his sycophants will need badly in the future for reasons.
Nah, it wasn't staged. Secret Service just did a poor job of hotel security, for that guy to have all those weapons at the hotel. An interesting thing about the dinner though is that if the gunman had succeeded in killing Trump, Vance, and Mike Johnson at the event, then the Successor as President would have been 92 year old Chuck Grassley.
I don't think it was staged. I mean, it could've been. But there's no shortage of pissed off people in this country. (By design and for good reason.) It's sad this guy got so caught up in things that he threw his life away for that clown. Funny that the WH and FBI/Secret Service would leak to the New York Post of all places, too. That kind of tells you everything you need to know about where we're at as a country and why.
I honestly don't understand how even 20% of Americans still approve of Trump. It's crazy. The ones that kill me most are the women.
I'm not so sure. The ballroom was secure and there was not a plan to, AFAIK, expand that security perimeter to the whole hotel. Maybe they want to change that in the future given how easily anyone can access guns nowadays (people can have those weapons, a shotgun and handgun, at pretty much any hotel; it's perfectly legal to obtain them and hotels aren't checking for guns, which of course is part of the gun culture of the U.S.).
Well, since the ballroom was secure, and a shooter couldn't have gotten to anyone in there then I guess Trump wasn't really in danger after all.

Really? Maybe congress and the senate should look into this. I don't understand why congress and the senate are not interested in president Trump engaging in insider training?
