    This year not all that disappointing or embarrassing for me. Once Fred went down and we failed to find a replacement point guard my expectations were rather low. When Adams went down, that was the nail in the coffin.

    For me all the years from about ‘87-‘91 were bad years. We had one of the greatest players in NBA history in his prime and we kept losing in the first round.

    they managed to avoid a sweep, but still went out in embarrassing fashion on their home floor

    final numbers for this series

    shot attempts
    - Lakers: 456
    - Rockets: 516

    3 pt attempts
    - Lakers: 153
    - Rockets: 199

    free throw attempts
    - Lakers: 158
    - Rockets: 147

    turnovers
    - Lakers: 106
    - Rockets: 83

    total points scored
    - Lakers: 607
    - Rockets: 592

    so in this series, we took 60 more shots than LA, took 46 more 3 pointers, just 11 less free throws, and turned the ball over 23 fewer times…we did all that just to score 15 fewer points than a team featuring 41 y/o Lebron and a bunch of nobodies plus 2 games of Austin Reaves fresh off injury

    and it’s not like Lebron turned back the clock and had a series for the ages…he averaged 23, 7, and 8 on 43/30/74 splits and over 4 turnovers a game

    Another wasted careless year of bs. I wouldn't be surprised if we came back next year after a big trade with a better team looking like a contender then KD sustains a season ending injury then we will again see the importance of not wasting time.

    Yep… we beat ourselves. This also was the “pro offense” lineup that everyone had said that Ime was an idiot for not playing all season long.

    Also whoever is the shooting coach on our staff should be fired immediately. You can’t say that you developed young talent effectively if literally none of them can shoot the damn basketball. That’s… basically like having a bowing team where all of your bowlers struggle to hit pins.
