If they win 70 games I’ll be surprised. They’re that bad.

Fans can take comfort knowing the pitching most likely improves based on this "era's" history and basic likelihood. Astros would have to set to all-time Runs Allowed record for this pace. Still, knock on wood.... for Houston Sports sanity sake. There's been some terrible losses recently.

    Record
    '24 - 8-19
    '25 - 14-13
    '26 - 10-17

Astros pitching likely won't be this injured all season. Knock on wood.

Houston can’t expect to go on a run like they did in 24 and they’re already 4 games behind 25. This team has about a 15% chance of making the playoffs and probabiy a 70% chance of being surefire deadline sellers. Rings can’t be won in April but they sure can be lost, and that’s exactly what Houston is doing with every step they take further into the hole.

You would never see this many empty seats on a Saturday vs. the Yanks, in Houston a couple of years ago or even last year.

10-17 has a lot to do with it.

I know right? Who knew winning games would fill seats...it's mind blowing.

When it's time, the Red Sox and Phillies aren't afraid to fire staff and eat large salaries. Jim Crane just does things differently...

Bagwell still says pretty good things… if you hadn’t fallen asleep due to the monotone cadence… but his insight always does add value and puts things in perspective.

Houston is a vanilla sports market. There’s nobody that’s going to put pressure on its sports teams’ owners.
