Lol no doubt, if I'm any team I want no part of him. I as just trying to imagine what teams might be desperate enough to think "If we just had this guy for one season, we'd win it all" because that's what fooled us to make this move. Either that or some owner that wants to sell tickets or something. I think he's going to be very difficult to trade, his contract makes it difficult and his age and this will be his 2nd young team he's blown up. His last year is also a player option that I doubt he declines unless he really hates playing here by now that he'd throw away like 40 million to get out. The unfortunate truth is we might have to just roll with him until the contract runs out and hopefully when he retires we'll have a bucket load of cap space to make a play at someone but that's 2 seasons in the future.
yeah, I don't really see any other team giving us a lot for KD in trade, and can't imagine there are many teams interested to begin with
Dunno if Portland would do it but I'd trade KD for Jrue and Scoot. We shouldn't have accelerate the timeline. Most of the guys aren't ready yet.
Again, it has to be a bad contract if you want anything that helps the team get better in the future I think. We saw in the offseason by the price that we paid that KD isn't viewed to have a whole lot of value over contract. How do you feel about Paul George? Otherwise, you just find a team with expiring contracts and/or cap space that's interested and take the L.
who said he’s in the building? Just because someone isn’t there doesn’t mean they’re not supporting the team. Again we have no idea why he wasn’t there and not fair to sit here and assume
no i just know none of you like to be questioned and judged by others with little to no information or knowledge but have no problem doing this to our players.
if durant didnt have that INSANE Nike PR, espn and fs1 would still be talking about the "KD Files" and blaming him for ruining the rockets young, promising future perfect example, insert james harden for durant with the same burner leaks and im 100% sure fs1( nick wright) is more than likely pointing to the "harden files" as why the rockets were underachieving post allstar break instead of blaming udoka.. probably would go into detail using advanced stats and everything.
not being on the bench is a terrible look. reading between the lines.. jabari calling KD out. the whole burner account came out and nobody denied it. overall body language of everyone (maybe except for amen), ime lacking self awareness... this team is in a terrible place. no leadership, no poise whatsoever.
lol. I think we in fact have an EXCELLENT idea of what's going on, and it's completely fair to sit here and speculate.
KD as the principle in a deal that Nets us #5. He's worth more than many think. Rockets select Kingston. We move our timeline back a bit.
Durant for Herro + Dru Smith works in trade machine Herro only 26 and would be an expiring contract next year. If we don’t like him we can let him walk or trade. Not my favorite trade but gets us guard / shooting help
Excellent idea? Based on what? Speculation not facts. At the end of the day it’s judgement. And i know you don’t want this done to you at work or in any other situation where people constantly judge you without facts. Do you?
it's called "inference" dude. and it's a lot like circumstantial evidence in law. You believe what you want to believe though, I don't really care what you believe.
If KD is done with this team then we NEED to move him as soon as possible. After the Twitter files were released, i think he's been regretting coming here. The team is still too young and dumb for him. Get max value while we can. FVV isn't going to save this team. Let's keep the young core intact, keep adding through the draft and hire a new head coach that is willing to develop the young guys and have an actual offensive scheme. Im tired of hearing, "we just need to make more shots"..well no sh*t we have to make shots Udoka!! The problem is creating plays, running an actual offensive scheme to get these shots up. Under Udoka, they just look discombobulated and every shot looks frantic and rushed. They have to work super hard just to get a shot up. Good teams make it look effortless
