Exactly. Retool and run it again with this core. Would love a new coach instead of trading any of these 4.

 

This will be the first of two wins in my opinion. Sad Series will not end after this game. It will be interesting what will happen after the first Round lose.

 

Just one half time show and The Rockets come back from 0-3...

 

Haven't even won a quarter, the entire series.... Winning a game with this squad is like winning the finals.

 

I expect them to get swept honestly.

They don't like each other, don't play for each other, so it might be a close game but the Lakers actually enjoy playing for each other, the vibes are good, and they have the belief that not only that they can win but that they can go into OKC and win too because they have two Alphas in Luka and Lebron who think they should never lose to anyone.

We don't have that lol...I think this team knows they can't challenge OKC, that they are just uselessly here. This teams Alphas, one is hurt, FVV is a rally guy but he's not playing...while KD seems to have quit on the team. Sengun does try and he did try to lead his team to a W last night but I think they are too defeated. Tari seems to have completely checked out on this team too and we're going to need him not playing like a sad sack to to make this series interesting.

 

Also they suck....

Nah I don't think they suck. Team success is different from player talent, I think many are not separating the two.

The Laker team sucks, out side of Lebron out there, most of these guys are barely wanted players. Like Ayton was almost out of the league, he had like two suitors. Rui is a worse version of Jabari in that all he does is shoot and offers little else. Smart is just old. Kennard is a nice bench player to have, Hayes is a failed project, LaRavia, lol! Vanderbilt just outright sucks....Bronny is here because of who his dad is

Yet here they are, up 3-0, up on this team. No matter how much they dominate us, oddsmakers still think we should win because the numbers say we should. That we have the better talent on the floor...but it all gets pissed away when the team doesn't know how to defend their Pick and Rolls.

Like people can just watch it next game, they have no clue. Basic defense thing...and its not because they don't know how. They've done it before...but they don't know how to approach the Lakers Pick and rolls. Just no clue.

I know many will disagree though but I've seen coaches instantly turn around rosters and players its just hard to play good when you're confused. Watch the defense next game and count the amount of times a player looks completely confused about what happened and why, shrugging, wondering where the help was. Miscommunication seems often on this team and its a sign that they have no idea what they are even doing out there half of the time.

In my opinion there is not much what the Rockets needed to be a strong Team. Its easier to make everything bad! Imagine the Rockets went at the trading Deadline for a PG. I am sorry but you can use Reed as an SG. He isnt a PG! The Rockets can trade Alpi away but everyone who knows something about Basketball will say that he there is no Center Problem. Its a problem at the PG Position. If you got a Donovan Mitchel or something else in your Team you are a really Contender! So its easy to destroy a good Team as a Fan! This Team had normally the Option over a Double Big Lineup (Sengün & Adams) or Playmaking over a PG! This 2 Options are not possible! Unlucky Season in my Opinion!
