This is so painful to watch.
Hoped we had turned a corner when we took 2/3 last series.

    Still can win 2/3.
The cavalry can't come soon enough.

I realize Gordon is mop up duty, maybe the can be lmj.

Taking Yankees AAA players works out. Welcome to Houston! Shay striking out answered my own question I guess…

Abreu throwing 93 mph fastballs again. What the hell is wrong with him? He threw 11 fastballs and all 11 were under 95 mph. Doesn’t make any sense if he’s truly not hurt.

At this point McCullers either accepts a bullpen role or he is dfa’d.

    Lance's days seem numbered. Hurts.

Silver lining is the innings. He's going 5 and not 2. Which introduces today's starter, Burrows -- another 7.00 ERA guy but he goes 5+ IP.

"Eat" those innings while serving a 2.00 WHIP !!!

I feel like we’re not so much eating those innings as much as we’re being violently force fed those innings.

The real torture of this suckitude is that so many guys are hurt and it’s so early in the season that there’s really nothing to do but let it play out. It’s not like there’s a bunch of prospects knocking on the door or a bunch of potential trades to be made this month. As fans we just have to hope against the odds that things turn around. It’s a real bummer.

I was just thinking that. Four pages is it. Team has fallen off the cliff.

What GM would be ok with having Lance as one of your starting pitchers? Just release him. His next start would either be at Baltimore or Boston where he likely gets shelled.
