I get the udoka criticism but that play was entirely on Jabari. He looked scared to bring the ball up. No one was in his way. But he forced an awful pass that led to a turnover. But I suppose it’s the coach’s fault because Jabari shouldn’t be rebounding?

I don’t care if we keep Ime or not. But I have zero illusion that any person on the planet could get this squad to be what we want them to be. They’re not those guys.

He’s not wrong but good coaches don’t just selectively throw people under the bus, not take any ownership at all, and always give a pass to his veterans/stars.

I think giving this guy an extension just because of last seasons relative success was a mistake. His head is too big to even make it inside the Toyota Center and he doesn’t even realize how pathetic his offense is. Player development… hahaha. When has he ever said anything about the fact that his staff has been a complete failure to do even the most basic thing and teach players how to shoot a fcking basketball and teach your top three draft pick that you drafted to be a point guard, how to dribble and pass???

I think the guy needs a serious humbling and I’m concerned that Tillman is too hung up with his other oligarch nonsense at Mar A Lago to not realize that he has failed too. Years ago many of us… Clutch especially…. pointed out that this team really needed a seasoned nba professional to join the organization to oversee Stone and Ime.

Ime and Stone… while talented both walk on water in their own minds and seemingly have zero accountability with ownership. It’s a problem folks and probably more than anything the main thing that is holding this team back. Not Reed’s shaky handle. Not Amen’s shooting. Not Senguns rim protection… no… it’s leadership.

Hot take: the team is more scared of Ime than the actual basketball moments.

are you delusional? Why not just fire our coach and not hire a replacement? The team essentially coaches itself already already.

Ime is a grade 1 dumb ass. He was a moron when he was in the league, and it never stopped. He’s not going to suddenly grow a brain, but he’s somehow lucked his way into a head coaching position.

With an even remotely passable coach, this team is 2-1 right now.

I’ll say again, fine with firing udoka. I don’t think this team is good enough regardless.

Ime was being honest and he wasn’t wrong. But, it’s just not a good look to not blame yourself first when the pings go wrong. It’s what coaches usually do. Reed WAS playing scared all night, that is true. Playing scared and timid in the NBA won’t cut it. And Jabari is NOT someone you want handling the ball and making decisions at such an important part of the game. The entire team needs to understand the situation and focus on securing the ball. No point guard all season has been a disaster.

This team is a mess right now. Coach throwing everyone under the bus, obviously locker room issues, KD won’t even sit on the bench to support his team, choking under pressure. I’m very curious what this team will look like fall 2026, because I think some major changes are incoming.

Meanwhile, the damn Spurs are getting 60 points out of their 2024 and 2025 draft picks, and have those two carry them to victory without Wemby (f that guy, but he’s going to win multiple mvps if he stays healthy). And they still have Fox who was off last night. THAT’S a well built squad. We made the jump to relevancy quicker, but they’ve made a more convincing jump and will sustain it. Title contenders already. We couldn’t get a Cooper, Cade, even a Banchero, Wemby…. We got a Jabroni, a guy we already traded, Reed who looks like a scared 15 year old, and Amen who is probably the only one of our “young core” I’d like to keep. What a mess.

It wasn’t Jabari’s dribbling that created the cascade of brain farts - it was his passing.

    Bravo! Thank you, insane man.

So loud, so wrong, and so embarrassing that Tilman has no choice but to give him the boot.

We might not be rId of Stone, but Ime is GONE.

I bet you any amount of money that Durant and Ime are already on the same page with trading certain young players on our current team already.

Yet a lot of you all will think KD is requesting a trade and Ime is getting fired. Stone may not even get fired with FVV and Adams out. More realistic outcome is players get traded and they run it back with a different group of guys to help Durant.

Every dynasty has a top 5 player in the league leading their team. There’s not a player on this roster that’s going to be that.

SGA at age 22 was averaging 24 on extremely efficient shooting.

I think we should trade picks and players for a few more 40+ year old dudes this off season and we should be fine
