Stone failed miserably. He took a big swing on Durant and ****ed up basically everything else he touched. Durant had a statistically good year but ruined the team chemistry and vanished when the team needed him the most. The bench was atrocious and Stone did NOTHING to improve it. I'm just not sure he is going to be able to survive the consequences of his decisions this time.

Unironically Kenny Smith would’ve turned this team into a contender…heady, floor-spacing guard who makes the right play most of the time and doesn’t shrink in big moments.

Instead, we have “point guard by committee”and not one of them can close a game out

Stone needs to go. He made two wrong picks in the top 5 and crippled the rebuild

Old fools here can hate on Kenny’s defense but the dude never turns the ball over
He was a textbook point guard

I don’t understand, how he loses the team’s only point guard and watches lakers sign Marcus Smart who had no team annd almost retired . He’ll, I wasn’t a fan but Westbrook didn’t have a team until a month into the season. Any point guard with expertise and we are up 3-0 instead of down 3-0 . Chris Paul for two minutes at the end of the game . It’s like they gave up on the season on first game . Started from the summer when Durant said he didn’t believe in small point gaurds . and don’t get me started on ime … players coach my ass … what kind of a players coach constantly puts his players down ?

Player position is still important in the NBA. A capable pg bringing the ball up after a rebound and Jabari doesn't make that stupid pass. A capable pg and Reed doesn't fumbled the ball because he is too shell-shocked to expect Lebum to try to steal the ball from him.

A capable pg is the motor that makes everything easier to run.

Everybody understands that except our lawyer-trained GM.

I don’t understand rejecting Harden twice who wanted to come here, but trading for an older KD and even giving him an extension

Harden is more impactful than KD and plays a much greater position of need than KD

    it really makes zero sense

CP3, even at 40 years old wouldn't have been a terrible option as a depth point guard on this roster.

They could've had both too. They have more than enough assets with future picks they could've swooped in before CLE.

    PG - Harden
    SG - Amen
    SF - Durant
    PF - Jabari
    C - Sengun

Arguably the strongest and most well balanced starting lineup in the entire league.

Rockets didn’t want to risk a PG coming in and making the team look better than with Ime BFF FVV - specially after the contract they gave him

    I 100% believe that’s why
