These aren't growing pains... he's not good enough to offset his deficiencies and he never will be.

He’s too small and if his shot is off he’s a liability. He’s a mid first round talent

He was literally selling the game all night minus one shot... if you know ball and have eyes... he's the biggest reason we lost then Ime.... He did NOTHING well... ZERO... ZILCH... he was getting hunted by the Lakers all night and in crunch time... Absolutely pathetic... he's a ridiculous liability... even his handle is ****

I'm sure reed would be good if we had an elite rim protector but we don't.

Castle dropped 33 tonight in a playoff game with no Wembyama. He even went 3-4 from deep. Maybe others would have to go?

Maloney shot .404 from 3 as a rookie starter with nearly 400 attempts.

There is no system for a small guard with a mediocre handle, mediocre vision, and horrid defense... whose a good shooter... that **** isn't gonna work in the offs.... his offense needs to be S tier... he'll never be as good as Jalen Brunson and look how he's being hunted.... Reed is a role player off the bench that could maybe hit some shots or get benched... a rotational guy at best.... unplayable as a core piece.

Castle still has shooters on his team which allow him to drive into the paint. Amen can't do that here because the paint is always clogged. That would be the case for Castle.

He's not good enough on offense to offset his defensive liability.... he never will be good enough... he'd have to be superstar offensive player..... In the offs teams play matchups more than ever.... Reed is unplayable as a core piece.

Good point. He’s a good player he’s just not good for where he was drafted and he’s definitely not ready for prime time

He is more of a sg, he can't run the pg bc his handles is too weak and his defense is too bad where he needs everyone around him to be able to pick up his slack.

Its going to take alot to make it work with reed.

Keep him for now. Give him the benefit of the doubt to be under a new coach and system. Just like Jalen had with Silas and now Udoka. I'm not expecting him to become a star, i just think it's fair that way.

His tools are way too limited, I saw enough when he couldn't beat Mike Conley... Conley put him in Jail when we faced the wolves.

He's too undersized for that... there's no hiding him in a playoff setting... He's simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH to build around his weaknesses... he needs to go

I wouldn’t give up on him. I have always said he’s a longer term project. He is a developmental player whether fans like that term or not. Management and coaching likely knows this and they play him for development but also because they don’t have another pg that’s capable despite Holliday having big games in the past.

I would however move him for Giannis or a proven player not necessarily all star caliber.

him getting abused by Smart was hard to watch. Literally pushed around and shoved out the way.

Yup, getting putting jailed by Mike conley when we faced the wolves was all i needed to see. This man is way too limited. He was suppose to be a generational shooter and he literally cant hit open shots...

Give him another year. This is the first year he played with actual meaningful minutes. If we're comparing Reed to Brunson, he has already surpassed Brunson's productivity in year 2 so I wouldn't really compare the 2 of them.
