well one of the actual good things Stone did was keep that deal to 2 yrs guaranteed. So just $28 mil. It was dumb to use our MLE on an old injured player, especially with other old injury prone players on the roster, but at least he hedged with the contract length.

Look how bad the bench was tonight. The starters all played over 44 minutes each out of absolute necessity because the roster Stone put together was complete dogshit. The bench combined to hit ONE shot tonight. ONE. In a game that went into overtime.

That's unacceptable. I don't wish for anyone to lose their livelihood, but Stone put this team in a rough spot with his decisions this season. If he does get fired, he deserved it.

If he kept on for another year watch him go all in for giannis, only way to save his a$$ and we are all gonna suffer for it.

Maybe we can get Danny Ainge to consider coming to Houston. Unfortunately he probably sees the Jazz’s future as brighter than Houston’s. And that’s not even a joke.

hell I’d settle for any GM that knows basketball at this point.

I think we should have given up one of our own future frp’s for Ayo, just because he could be re-signed at a decent price and been a valuable bench piece in years to come, probably better than any non-lottery player we would get with the pick. My bigger concern with Stone is what he did last off-season in giving one of the worst coaches in the league a 6 year extension and signing FVV for 10M more than the market would’ve paid, paying Adams more than he was worth, and, of course, wasting money on DFS and Capella when you could have just kept Jock for next to nothing. Loading up on forwards instead of getting Reed insurance.

I won’t suffer. If they gut the team for Giannis and keep this brain dead coach, I will give up my 40 year Rocket fan card and just watch college ball. Screw paying for NBA season pass.

You'll also need an owner who knows basketball is played on both sides.....there is a right way to play ball.

And who goes out to have relationships with NBA legends and NBA former players.
