You're 10000000% right. Hell, even someone two steps down from an aged Chris Paul would've been worth a try. Not like there is an absence of older former rotation point guards floating around...and we didn't try signing even one. Though that may have helped Amen and Reed to some extent with their development, I feel like constantly losing close games is the opposite of what we want our young guys to experience.

 

Our GM did not fight for us when he had the chance. What a let down, smh.

amen has made a lot of progress but he’s not a primary ball handler. Jabari isn’t a primary ball
Handler. Tari isn’t a primary ball handler. Kd for his size is better than expected but he’s not a primary ball handler too. Sengun is the only starter this year you really trust with ball security especially against pressure defense. FVV would help but you need at least 3 players you can trus lt not ti tru the ball over or not make a bad decisions against pressure defense

Reed just looks slow. What happened on that last possesion leading to the turnover looked like high schools versus middle school. Lebron doesn’t do that against anybody anymore.
