FVV he needs to go, he was a mistake signing in 2023 FA because Ime wanted him over Harden for bullshit reasons, Reed can go he is to short and we can keep DFS he might return to form with Harden on the team.
This game 3 showed you need vets and good coaching. Old Superstar vets are a crapshoot but Harden would help bringing the ball up the court, playmaking, and shot making. Harden > Udoka
FVV is more playoff proven than Reed however I think Harden can awaken Reed's shooting and confidence. I'd rather keep Reed another year and see if he improves than roll the dice on DFS again.
Playoff proven doesn't mean ****, Harden was and will always be the better player for this team when all said and done, not signing him twice is the biggest mistake in this rebuild.
Every single game i watch our awful offense, makes miss harden. Folks like to criticize him as a chocker and what not but harden passing ability is something we sooooo desperately need. But nah let's get fvv, man our front office r total bums
While Udoka is here and FVV is back then Harden is not coming here. If KD comes back and wins Game 4 and 5 then we may be stuck with this team.
Udoka is gone, we will lose game 4, FVV will be traded his ass better agree to being moved because he is not going to be welcomed here.
Can Harden and KD coexist again? Would KD be the #2 option behind the 2nd greatest Rocket in Harden? They would be a dangerous offensive duo.
KD works better as the #2 option, his best years were in Golden state where he was able to be the #2 behind curry
Harden would orchestrate this offense and help Sengun get his 3rd Allstar selection. Capela would turn back the hands of time with the lob dunks. It's time.
My perfect solution is to have Durant & Harden conspire to force Ime out and get Harden traded here. Harden and Jarrett Allen for Sengun, Reed, and Steven works cap-wise. Maybe sign Jose Alvarado as a backup PG, then you have: PG: VanVleet / Alvarado SG: Harden / Okogie SF: Thompson / Eason (on a qualifying offer - would not extend) PF: Durant / Smith, Jr. C: Allen / Capela You could actually do a lot better at the wing if you can convince someone like Ayo or Rui to take the full MLE while coming off the bench. Anyhow, the neat thing is that you can match the length of Harden's extension to KD's deal, and then open up massive cap space when they're both ready to retire. BTW I can already feel the flames, but I think that swapping out a nutcase like Kyrie with VanVleet while surrounding Harde & KD with plus defenders would really make a difference. At least it would be fun and you could possibly win a championship even though you still wouldn't be the favorite.
