It’s definitely not the only issue, but the lack of capable entry passes is stunning. Both KPJ and Jalen were terrible at it as well (oddly enough, Josh Christopher was fairly capable at it and Tari has been as well at times although not recently). And FVV was only ok at it (I think his size was a bit of an issue).

When you have a guy whose strength is post play, you should have at minimum one guard and one big forward who can make a clean angry pass. The lack of that is why Alpi is trying to make **** happen out on the perimeter.

I hope Tari won't ask big contract again for his defense on LBJ.

Ime said our defense was good enough.

Udoka admitting that the team doesn't listen to him lol...I mean usually when a coach loses the team they are immediately fired.

This team is actually more pathetic than the 49ers drafting ability.

Losing to a crippled G--state team in the finals was a huge red flag. Up 1-0 and losing 4 out of 5 was foreshadowing.

As a fan I am not ashamed of the effort of the team today. In fact, I am proud of the effort. We made many dumb plays being up 6 to give the game away. The young group does not know how to close and win. I am frustrated as anyone but at least Ime was forced to play more balanced line up today and we saw what we could be if we just play different lineup with KD.

Yeah I think some guys are a lot better than what we see.

Jabari being one of them, dude gets no plays ran for him and averages what he does, I think we saw more of what he could be if he was featured in an offense, thankfully he's insanely like 22 somehow.

Amen and Sengun are in each other's way...just a bad fit for them both.

Reed is a baby, silly to make final proclamations on him. Players with that amount of experience usually do dumb things and are wildly inconsistent.

smart baited him. Fake pressured an then stole it. He’s killed us all series. Why do we never have someone like that for our bench… smart was the only person on the court still playing at that moment. **** him.

No, I don't think we're better with Okogie. Alpi had a game because he decided to play and establish mid freethrow line and low block position.
I'm not going to bat, for Ime here. I can't blame this game on him though. 6 point lead with less than a minute.
That's on mentally weak players that crumble under pressure.
Rick Adelman could be running his dynamic offense here and these players would find a way to mess it up. They are just not high iq players.
Think about it, you are the coach and call a timeout . You look up at the clock and tell your team out there. Hey its under a minute left in the game we have a six point lead. We want are best free throw shooters to handle the ball. We will run this inbounds play to get Reed open to bring the ball up the court. You emphasize "hey we need to make sure we get out of the traps, and find the open man to pass to". You did your job as a coach, but guess who turned it over? Not Ime, that trap was coming and Reed thought he could accelerate with his weak handles. Who is that on? Is it on Los Pollos Hermanos the coach, or is that on Reed Sheppard?

Stan Van Gundy: "And the Rockets are going to be able to close this one out. Or maybe not. What is Jabari Smith doing?"
