I want him gone but he’s right. The second primary ball handler has to be closer to the primary ball handler to be the outlet from the trap. This core doesn’t know how to handle the those situations and it’s been that way for a while it’s like nobody wants the ball

He’s right that that Jabari and Reed made **** plays, but he’s also a **** coach and hasn’t been to figure out an effective offense since he’s been here.

    Both things can be true.

It's "always us" until it's his fault.

The young core is good, they need quality depth. Any team that loses two of its major contributing starters will struggle. It is baffling that a young team adding a veteran superstar with injury concerns didn't add any depth to support the team. Sengun, Jabari and Thompson are the core, fortunately or unfortunately. This team just doesn't have enough. At least they're getting experience

Then it was up to the FO to overrule Ime on that. They didn't, and while Fred has been good, I think our players would've learned more under Harden.

But that's all fantasyland now, so it's not like it matters at this point

@Asian Sensation wants to know how much Harden makes. (Apparently it was impossible to have him on the rockets because of salary)

It's on Stone then for not going after a high IQ veteran PG, where all of our fortunes are based on FVV? Now FVV is not even that good, but for this team his BBIQ is sorely needed because he elevates the rest of the dumbasses here, including the coach who isn't even an Xs and Os guy.

Almost 40 years of watching sports and this might be the most outcoached a series as I recall.

    Fire his ass.

With all due respect, we have been in 46 clutch games this year, and are 22-24.

If the young guys are scared of the moment, teach them. That is the coaches job. There have been plenty of opportunities. If they aren't learning, or listening, is it time for a new voice?

No coach worth a damn wanted to coach the rockets after the shitshow we were with Sails, whatever agreements they made with Ime back in 2023 might have been he has 100% control of his roster and him and Stone/FO need to agree on all moves that he wanted or what they would make with his approval ... and i bet you Ime only signed with us because he has a major hate for Harden and know harden wanted to come back to Houston even when he was a coach on the nets.

Am I wrong in saying that Ime has more in common with Doc Rivers and Mark Jackson than he does with the Brad Steveneses of the league?

Everyone loved Doc and Mark when they were leading the plucky underdog Magic and early-stage Warriors to middling success, because they built some sort of structure...but their lack of creativity always limited their ceiling.

Udoka is a young coach and comes from a storied coaching tree, but he doesn't seem to have absorbed Pop's most integral principles

Flip this guy I hope he's gone, but he's not wrong.

The Lakers were not swarming Jabari to intentionally foul him. They had given up, the game was over.

What a clown! Have some dignity at least. Congrats to stone for hiring two incompetent and lack of character guys in a row. Game recognizes game!
