- It saves us from getting humiliated by the Thunder for four more games and getting swept by 20+ every night. - It lets us move into the offseason and hopefully move on from bums like Udoka, Eason, DFS, Holiday, Tate, and the rest of the dead weight. - It gives us time to reset for next season with a full roster plus Steven Adams and Fred Vanvleet. - If you can trade Sengun and picks for Giannis/ Kawhi, do it! - Bari and Reed gets one more year here and if they don't shine, they are out. Amen gets two years.
After this I hope: Fire IMe Trade KD S/Trade Eason Dump Tate Trade DFS Trade Adams Trade FVV Go back to youth until we have a leader that we can truly build around - a 37 year old is not it. And, I wish we kept Cam, he would have helped off the bench when healthy. DD
Yea, but he can't play with KD or Amen or Reed. If he played as well as today the first two games, we wouldn't even be in this mess.
he is still limited defensively so he has to play efficient offense every night for him to be a net positive. Tonight he balled out, so did Jabari, so did Amen but they all have limitations that make it hard to build around.
Nothing good man, some of us are getting older. We won't be around long enough. Fk the rockets, tilman needs to stop being cheap and use money to Bride the refs and the league office like the rest of the high market teams
Giannis will be 32 in December next season. I'm pretty sure he hasn't won a single playoff game since the championship. Most of that is of course because of injuries, but that's my entire point. Why a team that suffered through the Yao Ming injury years would take a chance on another player plagued by injuries is beyond me. But I'm afraid you're right. I can smell the desperation of the front office from here. It might be a bigger mistake than Durant. At least we didn't lose half a dozen draft picks for him.
The biggest reason we're in this mess is Stone's (and presumably Tilman's) inaction. So I don't suddenly expect them to do something because things went wrong. They were probably already expecting it.
I believe in our core of Amen, Sengun, and Bari. I'm still willing to give Reed more time to develop. Wanting to trade any of those 4 would need serious assets coming back. Giannis ain't it, 32, by next year, injury prone, and has failed to perform for several years in a row. It would be a worse mistake than Westbrook. I would think Ant would be worth it, but Minnesota ain't doing that.
Udoka is not the problem, Stone put this trash ass roster together. Stone should've been fired after the trade deadline when he said it wasn't our year. ****ing color commentators talking about how thin the bench is, **** that bald fraud!
Why are you so infatuated with Cam Whitmore? Lol, he got benched by the Wizards for a good portion of the season before being ruled out with the health problem
It would be good for us if this series was the catalyst for change, like how the 15-16 season was. We'll see. And I don't mean change as in trade away all our young guys, but a more fundamental change in how the team is built and coached.
Literally, i don’t know why people even want to win. For what? We need to get embarrassed like this for the attention. Stone needs to feel this. Ime too. Can’t hide forever.
Once again, Giannis is losing his athleticism, is about to blow his achilles heel or calf and would add another non-shooter to the team who is already declining athletically. We all saw how Westbrook looked at 30. Imagine getting Giannis at 32. It will be a bad trade for the team that trades for him.
