His confidence is clearly shaken right now - really needs a coach that will build him up....not tear him down.

He can't guard his shadow. He'll improve offensively and we need him for the time being but i really want to emphasize this: he literally cannot guard anyone. It's like hot knife through butter every single time. Despite his lack of frame and height he still leaves you perplexed by how easily he gets beat. The issue is he'll almost always be the shortest guy on the court and won't have the size to hold his own. His frame is pitiful as i said so i'm not hopeful about him filling out and being able to show any sort of resistance either. He's too short, so he has to take shots way below the 3pt line to avoid getting blocked which drops his efficiency. Reminds me of Trae in that regard. Him struggling to process pnr situations realy exposes gaps in both his bbiq and overall experience. At best, you're getting Fred VanVleet out of him and that's the best case scenario IMO.

But that's not an excuse for that dumbass not playing him in the previous games. He's dangerous when he gets hot and you should know that as a coach and give him and the team a chance. Today he finally realized his mistake but Reed couldn't get going. I was never high on him but i'm pretty sure he could be a valuable member of a basketball team not coached by a prick like Ime.

it's not his confidence... he doesn't have speed or a bag, so he needs picks every play to be able to do anything on ball... his shooting is not as good as advertised and his defense is a shitshow.

plus he looked shook when it mattered the most, though that's PROBABLY going to get better over time (can't get any worse right?)

We got Durcant and Sengun dick measuring all damn season and you start a thread about trading Reed? Lmao. Let’s fix the real problem before worrying about a bench 3 point shooter is doing.

Don't forget that he can't even dribble between his legs and he can't take care of the ball as any double team is an automatic turnover

For who? He ain't worth $hit, "Trade Sengun, trade, Jabari, trade Tari, Trade IME"...... I laugh every time I see this because none of these ****ing **** picks are worth anything.... They are all at best bench players.... Trade them for nothing? Sure!!!!! But we are going to have to tank at least 4 years before we can accumulate some 1st round picks again ...

What pisses me off even more is when we know the other team is going to foul in the end of the game he doesn't want to shoot the free throw... and he will miss them too when he gets them...

Come on bro...KPJ was turnover prone and Cam would've fed into the problem of taking bad shots...However, I would rather have KPJ/Cam over Ja'Sean Tate - any day and twice on Sunday!
Tate f♤cked us tonight with that foul...he should not see the court again this series if we make it past game 4, which I doubt because after tonight's loss I feel the soul got sucked out this team.

disagree. he can be a solid piece of a winning team. he's obviously not a top draft pick worthy but his 3 point shooting can still be valid. way too young to give up on him. he's not the problem, it's more structural, cultural, philosophical

prob not as bad but he definitely is nothing special. People complained about JG but what’s the difference here? He gave a few good performances several bad ones and everything else in between yet people find every excuse to give to him. Inconsistent all year. I haven’t given up on him but it’s not looking good.
