The only lies were the omissions of other flawed players on the roster.

The city already does boycott them, don't you see the empty seats? All it took was a single nba game outside of Houston for me to realise just how pathetic and woeful an nba in Houston is.

So much so that I refuse to ever watch the rockets at home anymore.

if we had the same team from last year and lost i dont think i would be nearly as pissed. i hate this dude KD.. i hate him.. These 30+ year old stars who keep getting traded around trick you every ****ing time.. should have just trusted in the new stars.

There are so few super stars now, just 'okay,' with the cumulative talent on the team, would have been fine IMO

    they panicked.

this is probably the most embarrassing moment in decades

being swept by 41 y/o Bron and a random assortment of role players…they are giving minutes to Bronny James

I can’t be seen in public…someone might recognize that I’m a Rockets fan

Well we can confirm the "Popovich tree" grows ****ing shoddy fruit that's for sure. The Coach K tree looks better even though I ****ing would love to punch JJ, bell end.

I've been following the Rockets since the early-mid 90s. Not counting the few rebuilding seasons where they only won 15-25 games, this season's Rockets might just be the dumbest and most uninspiring team that I've ever seen. They are the equivalent of a jalopy, not a well-oiled and tuned machine.

I think the fate of the Rockets was pretty much sealed just before the start of this season, when FVV got hurt. Ime is a poor coach, but a "floor general" PG like FVV would've been able to mask and overcome some of Udoka's deficiencies. And then the GM's failure to not acquire another true PG doomed the Rockets. Yeah they won 52 regular season games, but who gives a sh*t? NBA teams tend to just coast thru the regular season in recent years. Then the actual good teams suddenly get serious during the playoffs, and proceed to expose the pretenders (e.g. Rockets) big time. (BTW the Lakers aren't all that good, but they at least are able to play some semblance of competent half-court offense.)

The Lakers will sweep the Rockets, and then will get swept by the Thunder.

By the way Rockets legendary offseason acquisition Dorian Finney-Smith with another 0-burger.

    That’s pretty funny.

The LEGIT best outcome I can think of for this series now is probably what happened in the 12-13 series against the Thunder where we went down 0-3, won two in a row, lost and then had some sort of momentum with the young guys playing well.

Difference was, back then we had a special 23-year-old in James Harden. And while Amen has played his heart out in this series, Jabari has shown fire and Alpi took over this game, we don’t have a future star of Harden’s caliber to build around yet.

I’m not even considering KD at this point, because I have no idea how he fits into our future timeline.

It’s been a weird, semi-lost season that we all saw from a light year away.

We had the second-youngest starting lineup in all of postseason history, apparently. And even with that, I don’t know who the future is going to hinge around

This is MAGA level logic from Ben.

@J.R. - track down Katy’s Burner and send him Ben’s post.

The worst is we keep losing to LA and those smug fans that already hate us cause they are also Dodgers fans. We have NEVER beat the Lakers in the playoffs in my lifetime.

You right about this. Losing to the Warriors in 7 when the entire team is like 22...at least there is some pride in that. You took Curry/Dray to 7 games and your team is super young...

This actually might be the most disappointing Rocket team in history. Can anyone think of any year that is more disappointing?

Even Tmac/Yao years they were taking turns being hurt despite losing in the first round over and over again.

I went to revisit our trading deadline thread. It was almost as painful as this game. It's not like we were asking for Antonio Edwards.

All the guys that would have been easy to acquire have made big contributions to their playoff squads.

0-27 there was hope. Rockets were up 10 in the 3rd or 4th. That rockets team could have overcome the 0-27 if they would have just stopped crying about the fouls that were never going to come.

Fred was our lead offensive assistant in addition to only PG on the roster

NBA really played with the Rockets tank.
The fact that Dallas & San Antonio both got generational talent is smh.
Getting that surprise 3rd overall pick in a weak ass draft was an insult. That was a substitute for the Rockets not getting any #1 picks during the tank.
