There was no way this team was going to win against the Lakers with no PG. Reed is not that guy.

This team has had no leader on the floor all season. I'm surprised that we even got this far.

Hang it up and prepare for the '26-27 season.

Imagine how bad your team building philosophy must be if the 4th/5th starter getting injured is the end of your season.

Imagine Morey telling fans that the Rockets are done because Pat Beverley or Trevor Ariza goes down with an injury. Or Rudy T/Carol Dawson giving up because he lost Kenny Smith.

FVV is a below average starting PG, he wasn't going to significantly going to move the needle.

The guy in the avatar here, averaging 24 PPG 8 APG and wanted to return, maybe could've helped a bit though...

Fred would help, but not that much.

Ime and Stone have to go. They had ALL season to fix the point guard issue. This is the NBA, they gambled an entire season with no clear plan. Ime’s stubbornness to ignore Harden, who makes every one better , better shooter, better defender than Reed and Sengun even at his advanced age, while pile so called defensive players that cannot generate any kind of offense shows how inept both are. They put this team together because they thought they could win as constructed. They cannot fix the problem because they both appear clueless

When Fred went down we should have brought someone in. Just someone that can handle the ball. It’s not that Fred was some elite PG or anything. But, he was the one guy that had some command of the floor and could get us into position to make plays. It was a major failure by Stone and Patrick to do literally nothing to replace someone that we didn’t have a replacement for on the team. Watching one Rocket after another try to run the offense and failing time after time was painful.

We have some talent on this team. But, our one and only true point guard never played a game the entire season.

FVV's stats are less important than the fact that he raises the collective BBIQ of the team. We miss his leadership and brain even though his talent is mediocre at this stage in his career. Losing FVV is further exacerbated because Stone drafted a bunch of dumbass players. We don't have any smart players besides Alpy. Adams was another smart player but is hurt.
