Nick Caley ought to know his tight ends, and this is the one that he wants from this draft. I'm guessing Caley feels comfortable developing him, so I'm inclined to give the pick the benefit of the doubt.

Someone needs to duct tape our TE scout’s mouth during the draft. He’s clearly vocal and wrong an awful lot
At some point if they keep trying eventually they'll get someone good. The sample size is large enough that eventually it becomes inevitable that they'll stumble their way to a good TE. A broken clock is right twice a day.
Agreed, way too early to make judgments. Most hated last year's Caley pick of Woody. But he ended up adding a lot to an offense that didn't have much else going for it.
I'll laugh my ass off if Nick goes all in for Pregnon trading up with our remaining picks, and we end up with another stud offensive lineman as well as the next best TE nobody saw coming.
