Amen could be (and at times already has been) the best perimeter defender in the NBA.

What could Sengun ever be the best at? Running like a weirdo, I guess.

It's Amen Thompson, and honestly, it's not even a decision you have to think twice about.

I'd like to see both of them under a decent coach.

It's one of those claims that fans might think is right until you actually look at it. In reality, he was mostly seeing single coverage, and the efficiency just wasn’t there.

He was not clearly the best player. FVV won us 2 games, Sengun can’t say that.

More importantly, you said he didn’t collapse. He absolutely collapsed. Best player or not, he was terrible. 21 points on 19 shots on single coverage is a “best player” you should throw in the garbage.

You also stated all bigs struggled against Draymond and in the very next series, Randle dominated Draymond. I’m sure you know this because you looked it up and didn’t even try to challenge it.

It was a bad performance even if it was one of the least bad performances on our team that choked.

But do you build a franchise around a player with the best perimeter defense? Is one perimeter defensive player more valuable than a playmaker and bucket getter when building a team?

I'll remind you it's the perimeter players that are going off on the Rockets this series.
