Between Alpi and Tari, we have a tremendous amount of awkward arm movement.

Jabari plays a key role in our trash lineups. The other team has more ‘pressure the ball defenders’ than we have guys that are comfortable with the ball and also have more ball handlers than we have pressure defenders anytime Jabari is on the court.

TS% and accounting stats aren’t going to tell you which team was faster, which team was comfortable and which one was stressed out.

Nothing Jabari does overcomes losing that battle as a team.

Thats why he’s -27 in the playoffs, and it’s important. If we pin it on JaeSean Tate, the problem will still be there and it will happen again.

He’s a PF / C …he’s not supposed to be a on ball person , it’s not his fault that Ime hates guards … the fact that Tate is prob the 3rd most comfortable person bringing the ball up vs pressure behind Amen and Alpi says a lot

Jabari Smith Jr’s highest scoring game in a playoff win is 8 points. We’ve never won a playoff game that he’s played more than 24 minutes.

Roosh Williams goes out of his way to provoke Turkiye and now says so many Turkish people are "complete pussie$" and that they wake up at 3am to watch Alperen Sengun "sh*t his diapers in front of the world."

Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a name many connect to Houston as a potential superstar who could be acquired in a Şengün trade. Kawhi Leonard or Donovan Mitchell could also be possibilities. If Houston makes Şengün available, along with some of the future draft picks they hold, it would put them squarely among the favorites to acquire any of the disgruntled superstars who may become available.

    Is Donovan Mitchell "disgruntled"?

I wouldn't want to be trapped in Cleveland either, although much of Houston isn't exactly beautiful, either (but if you ever find yourself bored in Houston, then you must be a mountaineer or a surfer).

To be fair, yes, Alperen looks like a drunk Kung Fu Panda sometimes, but his stat line wasn't bad for Game 2. His flailing misses aren't pretty, but he was +1 for the game. 5 assists to 1 turnover. 4 steals and a block.

Kevin Durant had nine turnovers and doesn't get 25% the hate that Sengun does. At least spread the wealth.

why would Cleveland want Sengun? If we trade for Mitchell it will have to be Durant and a boatload of FRP’s. I’d do it if we could hang onto Nets 27 pick, so Durant 27 Phoenix, Houston 27 pick, Dallas 29 pick. Trade Sengun for Ware and Wiggins, Miami’s 29 pick. Of course, Ime would nix the Mitchell trade as it would supplant his boy.

Fire Ime and complete the trades:
    Starting:
    Amen
    Mitchell
    Wiggins
    Jabari
    Ware

    Bench:
    FVV (or trade preferably)
    Reed
    Okogie (re-signed)
    Tari (re-signed for cheap)
    Adams, Capella

Remaining draft capital: Nets 27 pick, Phoenix 29 pick, Miami 29 pick, All our picks starting in 28. Amen would be surrounded by 4 shooters and both Mitchell and Wiggins can also create and get to the hoop.

Kevin Durant isn't a mere rental. He is supposed to be a long-term rental. Three years, what with the extension.

Maybe I'm splitting hairs. Like between "all dead" and "mostly dead."

"Sengun is our franchise player." Yeah, who's going the way of Jalen Green.

I guess every summer we'll shed one of these guys. At least while Stonedoka is here.

This cannot be the way. At some point, the coach and GM needs to be held accountable. I feel that we are doing disservice to our young core by expediting the timeline. This is just as bad as what Golden State tried to do with their two timeline approach while Steph was still playing at high level. The initial defense to Udoka's approach to play the veterans was that the young core needs to earn the minutes and be hold accountable. I understand that line of thinking. After that we trade for KD and expedite our rebuild further and at the time I understood the thinking at least from high level. However, what has transpired is that Ime has used this expedite rebuild to hinder the growth of the young core and that was highlighted in game 1 and to certain extend game 2. At the expense of winning games in regular season, we haven't seen the growth that we are all expecting. The lack of focus on maximizing the your core's talent is not going to be good for us in the long-term. The Stonedoka better be on the hot seat.
