    KD didn’t “quit,” that’s dumb

he just once again got exposed as the terrible passer and playmaker that he is…that’s not quitting, that’s the Lakers executing a game plan and the Rockets not having the skill or coaching to counter

KD is definitely lazy and not even fighting people harassing him. So yeah in a way he’s a quitter.

Ryan Hollins said that KD could've still been dealing with a knee injury in game 2 which is why he bought the ball up the court in the playmaker role. He didn't play more off ball by setting screens because his knees were still sore. Maybe we'll see him play more off ball in game 3.

    KD is a quitter.

    Tilman is a cheapskate.

    Udoka is a fraud.

    Stone is a puppet.

Would be tough for anyone to not quit on this team too but no I don’t think he was or will quit. He just realized that there wasn’t enough around him to easily take the ball pressure off him so it’s safer to stay out of the play and see if the rest of the team can change the defense playing 4 on 3.

This happened with Harden too especially in the playoffs. When the ball pressure couldn’t be relieved it was better to hang back and out of the play and hope the others could force changes to their scheme.

Anyone got a link to Sengun and Jabari's burner accounts?

At this point - this is the only content that is going to salvage this season for me. If I could just see Jabari and Sengun snap back it would make my year.

Yeah, its weird. It's almost like this team needs more offensive players and NOT more defensive players(why did we sign DFS and Capella this offseason?)...and by the way, Luke Kennard looks like an all star playing against this team so its fair to ask the question of 'do we even have good defenders'?

TLDR, it's hard not to pin this stuff on one or both of Ime/Stone. Bad roster with too many fatal flaws and a coach who can't seem to find anything that works consistently after 82 games.

So let me get this right.

KD is almost 38 years old, is in the top 5 in the NBA in minutes…. Has to literally carry the entire offense… and he dropped like 23 points at halftime on 9-10 shots…but he gave up? He didn’t give up, the man is old and exhausted… and there is no one not in their 30’s that apparently can score or do basic basketball things.

Also - who the hell decides to trade for a 38 year old star, and put him with a 32 year old high mileage PG, a very injury prone 33 year old center… and a 33 year old wing that everyone passed on because he was hurt.

That is just suicide- especially for someone as cautious and Stone…. Literally quadrupled down on old, heavy mileage or injury prone players.

They still don’t have a single shooting guard on their roster.

KD gets a hard one when he is scoring, it is not like he is tired of it.

Same with burners, gives him rush to talk behind backs.

For a historic, All time scorer, his caliber, he has feet that look like Goofy's.......no wonder he gets all these injuries, his frame looks massively whack...... more so than Wemby's.

He didn't quit, the pieces he is surrounded by just aren't a good fit for each other. The chemistry has never been right from the start with this group. It feels like they genuinely don't like each other very much, and they definitely don't compliment each other's games on the floor either. Stone put together a flawed roster, and Udoka has absolutely no idea how to mesh them together. That's all there is to it.

Watching the 3 guards we wanted Stone to trade for go off and help their team win is criminal

and teams being using what the Lakers are doing all season and Ime refuses to adjust cause he’s a idiot

GS uses same formula and none of our shooters can get in a rhythm from 3 cause they take a 3 every blue moon …

In fairness, KD was not moving right in the 2nd half, not an excuse for the turnovers though

None of players on the floor other than Jabari could shoot. Lakers were basically daring everyone to shoot. What else do you want KD to do?
