    First

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE STONE FIRED!

I would like to see Sengun traded for a young wing and an athletic center

    Hou out - Sengun
Charolette out- Brandon Miller, Mikal Bridges and #1

    WHY BOTH WILL DO IT

Charolette- Sengun would fit perfect next to Konippol and Ball. Plus Charolette needs an inside presence.

Hou - needs to get more athletic on the wing and get more scoring

    Or

Hou out- Sengun, Tari, Reed and a #1
    Mil out- Giannas

    WHAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN

Hou out- FVV, Capella and DFS
Philly out- Paul George and a #1

Philly- will do it because they want to get from under that contract and by getting smaller contracts in return, they can maneuver better during the off season

Hou - will do it because they will not like the Trade Market for Sengun. So nothing will materialize with Sengun.

Paul George contract lines up with KD's, plus they will be able to unload Capela and DFS contracts and they will be able to get into the 1st Round.

As bad as it sounds, it gets the Rockets another outside shooter to take pressure off KD, they can get a young player in the draft and they can give Sengun another yr to work on his game.

Stone, Ime, and Tilman gotta go. They're treating their jobs like it's a chill low maintenance job.

I would love to be wrong, but I have real questions about Sengun having the kind of trade value suggested in these proposals.

do you think we could have pulled of a better deal for Sengun during the trade deadline?

Yeah, I imagine the rest of the league views our “young core” as “buy low” candidates. Look for everyone on our roster to be available in trade speculation this offseason. It’s going to be miserable around CF.

I honestly don't know because I never heard specifics about Sengun being inquired about, but I do know Indiana pursued Steven Adams before they acquired Zubac. Could the Rockets have gotten a similar deal for Sengun? Probably, but I don't think the Rockets (with Adams already out) could have sold that to the fanbase.

    Forget the trade proposals today.

Just take solace in the fact a 6th yr, 25yo Sabonis landed a 2nd yr, 21yo Haliburton.

maybe the player hasn’t even been drafted yet. :)

I do think Charlotte would be a good fit for Sengun with the shooting they have, not sure what they would give us back though.

Trading away our guys isn't a good idea until we fire Ime first; he's the bad apple that will spoil the bunch. I'd hire a new coach and give our young core another chance before making any big moves.

You can't trade away FVV in the summer because of how Stone designed his contract.

What should happen: Stone and Ime both get canned, the new GM steps in starts fresh and trades away everyone for future picks minus Amen, let Amen develop, maybe there's still hope for a jumper.

What will happen: Tilman's dipshit son who oversees the Rockets will continue down this path of mediocrity especially because both Ime and Stone got extensions recently. If anything, they'll make a dumb all-in move this summer and trade away our future picks.

I'm disheartened by how quickly people are willing to TOTALLY give up on this team.

Can't we trade him after he accepts the player option?

We need a true center, i give you that. But trading Sengun doesn't seem like that's the real problem.

I think we have serious problems from the Guard, Forward position. We're just not producing. Either we figure it out offensively or start replacing with someone who has executed really well on the floor.

If Jalen green can get traded for Durant, then two time all star Sengun can get you Giannis.

On the one hand, it's true that objectively the majority of the rotation is still very young and we had a good (but not championship-level) W/L record and net rating.

On the other hand, I think it's kind of natural to be in this sort of state of mind after losing two straight games to 41-year-old LeBron, a few 5th starter level roleplayers, and scrubs. There's something deeply broken about this team and a lot of us have been seeing it all season long. This season has been rough on the eyes and hasn't looked like a 52 win team. As subjective as that is, the results right now are bearing it out.

I don't think they are firing Ime due to his contract. They will require him to make some offense adjustments

Because when you see OKC being a juggernaut with their now championship- experienced youth, it's seems obvious that we're laps behind.. Now factor in SA in their meteoric rise and Denver's sustainability as a contender and " let's reload/rebiluild " becomes a thing quickly... Losing to GS last year was more of "setback" than we told ourselves IMO..

If our team can't beat a 41 year old LeBron and Kennard/Smart as his other top scorers then heck yeah its time to move on from this constructed roster
