I would agree with this, unconventional, yes but who else can actually throw strikes at this point. The bullpen is lost and overused, our SP can't get past 3-4 innings consistently and the quality of the BP (due to injuries) isn't ideal and Abreau is toast at this point As they showed Monday, were a good team if our starter can go 5-6 and the offense can give us 4-5 runs but dam that's walking a tight rope every night. It's a shame because Yordan is having a year, Walker is hitting well and the offense should be enough but dam our pitching just sucks So many injuries, it feels like 2025 all over again. I think some new blood needs to be inserted into the organization, Joe needs to go, fair or unfair but a change needs to be made immediately
I’m just glad I didn’t watch the 8th inning meltdown. It was 4-2 and then I checked and all hell broke loose.
Whitcomb in the dog house. Interesting to see Johnson in cf, Matthews getting more playing time. Unfortunate, that Harrison got hurt last night.
We're at the point that its unfortunate that nobodies that people don't even know the name of are getting hurt and forcing us to play other nobodies instead. On the plus side, Harris managed to make it almost 2 days as an Astro before getting hurt, so that's a pretty big win for the training staff.
