“Better than almost every other team in history” is a really long list. I could list 20 teams quickly that OKC would stand no chance against.

 

it's pretty impressive when you have an opposing coach that knows more about your team than your head coach.

just a masterclass right now by JJ Reddick. It's absolutely infuriating as a Rockets fan but we've had the same glaring issues all season that we've neglected to fix in any meaningful way. In the playoffs it's different, you HAVE to adjust or you will lose. You can't just play another team and pretend the issues are gone when you play a developing team and the match-ups are different.

I'm trying my best not to over-react but I think we need a complete tear-down next year. You're on a razor thin edge where the players currently have been mismanaged so poorly I'm not sure you can re-develop them at this point. Reed Sheppard is poster-boy for this as his confidence is all but gone by the way he's been handled.

if we had a competent team, someone like Luke Kennard would be looking as unplayable as Reed Sheppard

this is someone teams would target relentlessly, but we have no one that can do so and Ime wouldn’t be able to scheme it anyways

like if we had Harden or someone like that, Luke Kennard would get played off the floor and so would Ayton due to his PnR defense…but we can’t take advantage of none of that

Exactly this. Trading for Durant when they did was idiotic. The timing wasn't right. Now I'm afraid Stone will compound that mistake by making another bad trade for another aging star in an attempt to save his job. Everyone is justifiably pissed at Udoka, but Stone deserves most of the blame.

I think the myth that FVV was holding back the offense has been busted.

 

Reed Sheppard has sucked and deserved to be sitting o the bench. The question is why can't Sengun make a layup? Jalen Green going 4-15 is labeled a chucker. Alperen going 4-15 as a big is a astronomical failure. Isn't he the franchise player?

Excuses!! Sengun's missed layups were without any double teams. He just sucks. Stop blaming others when our so called cornerstone is a no-show

 

Just put in a bet for lakers to win series 4-1. Hopefully that doesn’t mean we lose 4-0…smfh.

I think this settles the Sengun debate. Dude is not a franchise player. He might’ve just single handedly cost us the series last night.

 

Watching all other teams road teams playing with so much heart makes me sad that ours is DOA. 35 plus years of cheering for Rockets bb. Never seen so much apathy from players and fans. Yes, we suck.
