As much as I want to blame Dickerson - the guy is 37, playing hurt, and played one half of elite basketball

Someone - ANYONE - on the Rockets had to help him out in the second half by having a good offensive spell and not a single guy could answer the call.

 

Again very bad 3 Point shooting! They attacked KD very hard and he made 9 TO's! No chance to win if you shoot so bad!

 

Team is about to get so much criticism and it's honestly deserved. A lot of people saying the same thing as last year.

"If ________ just played average we would win"

Instead we **** the bed every time in the big moments. If the team is consistently falling off in the big games/moments, then this is a coaching issue.

 

Silver is calling triple H. So if we let the rockets win 1 game and bring back Luka for game 5, we can double our profits?

We made Smart and Kennard look like Reaves and Luka out there.

 

I don’t think we’ll win a game until Udoka creates plays and lets Sheppard facilitate.

And KD can’t just stand outside for the ball. He has to be told to move and cut.

Udoka needs to get fired - the lineups he’s doing in the playoffs is DISGUSTING.

Starting 5 should be and play 30+ minutes:
KD
Sheppard
Amen
Jabari
Sengun

 

Hindsight is 20/20. They should have really traded Eason when he was second in the league in three-point shooting and Sengun when it was evident that he and Kevin Durant were not a good fit.

 

Rockets tanked to get

2nd pick Jalen Green: traded after 4th year

3rd pick Jabari: mediocre role player that excels at nothing and looks like a stiff

4th pick Amen: can’t shoot a lick outside the paint

4th pick Reed Sheppard: short player with no PG skills that’s a defensive sieve and streak shooter…every time he’s on the court, he gets targeted like he’s a rabbit that just got spotted by a pack of wolves

Sengun: non-factor outside the paint, no touch at the rim, soft, suspect on defense

Tari Eason: plays braindead hoops…head trauma hoops…CTEason

then our other 1st round picks like Josh Christopher and Garuba who literally sh*t himself on camera

 

You’re a good dude. This roster sucks. I don’t care who coaches it, it’s a roster not going anywhere. Frustrating cause we intentionally lost to grab players that literally can’t put the ball in the basket. It’s seriously just that simple.

 

This whole team is soft! Jabari=soft, Eason=soft, Reed=soft, KD=soft, Amen=soft, especially Sengun= extra soft. It's like punching a hole through a wet paper bag. Blow it all up and send Udoka packing as well.
KD 9 turnovers. He's getting doubled team and stuff, but the rest of the supporting cast has literally wet the bed.
I'd be ok with just sitting the whole starting unit and the reserves. Play Jeff Green Ime instead of Capella. He can at least spread the floor. Play Tristian Newton or Jd Davison they probably could handle the ball in the halfcourt without me having to hold my breath watching Tari or Bari dribble drive in the half court, and settling for a midrange shot that they are clearly not comfortable doing.
I hate this team right now!

The Lakers are just a 2nd Tier team in the West.....the problem is since the historic OT loss vs Wolves
Everyone knows....the Rockets are not for real and can be beat pretty easily .....

Now the Rockets can still make it a 6 or even 7 Game series if they really fought hard but Udoka does not instill confidence.

 

I have a question for you, do you think last year's team would beat this year's Lakers?

 

Stephen Silas. JVG. Ime. The next coach they hire, please let it be someone with an impressive record of offensive creativity and efficiency.
