ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Lakers 4/21/2026 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 2)

Tilman is excited right now. All the Vegas money on Rockets (even tho his casinos can’t bet Rockets games)

 

Again, we do we even have that many non shooters on the roster.

 

he was altering the starting lineup for no reason towards the end of the season.

He is a fraudulent person

They had sheppards confidence going, team was winning and then they decide to completely change things up

 

I said it earlier Reed played with confidence last game. His defense was bad at times but he was moving the ball and letting it fly. This come in for 2 minutes and if you're not hot you're buried is so stupid. Especially for a young (essentially rookie) guard.

 

Im not sure why anyone wouldve banked on that. None of these guys except KD has ever shown they'd be able to string together multiple good games where they carry the team..... Especially in a playoff setting.

They can barely do it in the regular season.

I definitely didnt expect any individual player besides maybe KD to be able to do that. Not in this Ime system at least.

 

Mediocre front offices make mediocre moves

 

League Pass really makes this feel like a Lakers broadcast.

And we saw this bullshit with Kate Hudson and Brenda Song last game **** off

 

honestly I’ll take like 90% of the coaches over Ime. Maybe not the Magic coach (ahem, who was almost our coach during the Silas hiring)

 

Disappointed in Reed. He looks intimidated out there. He has to be better in the second half or I wouldn't be surprised to see him out of the rotation.

 

struggling to score against a terrible defensive team is not a good look whatsoever

Ime isn’t out there getting punked by Hayes

 

There was a moment during this season that I gave up on Ime...

He put out KD with Tate, Bari (when he was ice cold), Capela, and maybe Okogie? Crucial minutes in this game. At that point I decided then...this man has no idea what to do on offense. The result was as expected. KD got doubled, the team couldn't score, and it was harder to play defense since they weren't getting good looks so it fueled the other teams offense.

It's crazy he's doing this in the playoffs and guess what...we're going to see this lineup in the 2nd half...I hope not, but I expect it.

 

The funny thing is when Bronny comes in and plays his garbage 2 minutes, JJ has enough sense to keep him out the rest of the game. We'll see if we have to put up with Holiday and Tate again

 

He’s too scared. Coulda had Harden or Coby White and he stood pat.

 

Yeah the only way this "system" works is with transcendent isolation play and we don't have that. I could coach this ****.

 

They are only terrible because they play Luka and Reaves at the same time. Without them they are pretty good

 

he literally does it so nbc can say, father son together. Bronny might be the worst player in nba history.

 

Amazing how the LAL pnr is so effective while ours has looked like **** all season.

I absolutely hate our read and react/iso BS offense.
