Ime doesn't understand spacing OR he just DGAF and thinks the defense will make up for the lack of scoring.

 

Anyone saying Ime is gonna get fired couldn’t be further from the truth, there is no way in the world he is let go.

 

He's nowhere near the freak athlete of Prime, pre-Prime and most of his post-Prime Lebron. Like it's not close at all. He may be faster right now, but even then he can't utilise his speed anywhere near the same way LeBron or other freak athletes can, he's almost just shinier fools gold than Jalen tbh another high level athlete with no idea how to even weaponize his athleticism. Tyrese Maxey's speed is more useful than Amen's by far.

Tate brought some grit…something the starters are lacking

Some of the plays he’s making even in this game are kind of mind boggling. He just knows what to do at all times. He’s boxing out and tipping loose balls to teamates like a role player, then flying down the court leading the break, then pulling up from three, then shooting a post fadeaway over the shoulder. Dude is insane

 

He's getting boxed out by 6'3 Marcus Smart.

 

You *could* win with this team with a more creative offensive centric coach like Adelman but those teams never win anything big. 60 win season ceilings. Ime is probably also too limited like Thibs or Rivers but we cant win with Kanter.

 

Well….if you’re going to get exposed….it might as well be to a geriatric LeBron and the G-League All-Stars….this team honestly should not even be in the playoffs…they are who we thought they were….an extremely talented but majorly FLAWED team…
