Who gives a f*ck if he was nice? Everyone in the world can come here as long as you are nice? F*ck you for employing an illegal.
You think I asked for his ID? Do you card people you hire to do work? No, you don’t. Eat an entire bag of dicks, hypocrite.
Everyone i hire to do work at my house i personally know (and know their citizenship status) or atleast know their boss and trust them to vouch for their validity. If i had a total random stranger at my house i would ask for ID. This is unfortunately needed, because dipshits like you told the world 'hey if your nice just come on in. You dont need to get permission'
You suck at the breast of a President that has long hired illegals… so don’t go off on some absurd claim that you ID everyone.
Must be nice to know a plumber, electrician, HVAC tech, landscaper, and handyman who will work for you and that you've checked their ID at some point since I assume you weren't there at their birth.
Absolute horseshit and you know it. Mother****er tryna make us think he walks around asking everyone for their IDs.
I just had some work done the other day and only one guy spoke English. They had general liability insurance though so who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth? @tallanvor is full of **** as always...you can't build or do any repairs in Texas without dealing with some illegals no matter how hard you try.
I get that what you're trying to imply is that pro-immigration people don't like the country, and/or maybe that Marxists don't like the country, and that they are trying to sabotage the country with immigration. But, what this quote actually reflects to me is the MAGA burn-it-down mindset -- taking political positions to own the libs, to hamstring government, to break things so you can remake it later -- because MAGA doesn't like what America is today. The revolutionaries in our context are not the Marxists, they are the Trumpists. For the business, we check everyone's status and make sure they are legal. For doing work on the house (which is rare because I don't like to pay people to do things I can do myself), I wouldn't ask and even if I knew the person was working unlawfully, it wouldn't affect whether I hired them or how much I paid them. I don't have any problem with people living here and working here illegally.
we should be clear in our language. no one, or almost no one, is against immigration. rational people of both parties are against illegal immigration. the modifier is important.
US to lose $147–$479 billion in tax revenue due to reduced federal income and payroll taxes from undocumented immigrants. Fact: Undocumented immigrants paid more in federal taxes than Tesla did in 2025, 2024, and 2023. The Potential Impact of IRS-ICE Data Sharing on Tax Compliance | The Budget Lab The Budget Lab estimates that unauthorized immigrants paid $66 billion in federal income & payroll taxes in 2023, about 2/3 of which was payroll taxes. As a result of the proposed IRS-ICE agreement, unauthorized immigrants could become less likely to file taxes and/or move to jobs or pay arrangements less likely to withhold taxes. TBL estimates that the agreement could lead to a 0.5% loss in federal income and payroll tax revenue on average, or $25 billion in 2026 (central range of $12-39 billion) and $313 billion ($147-479 billion) over 2026-35. However, there is considerable uncertainty around this estimate as it is hard to gauge how taxpayer behavior will adjust and the extent to which adjustment will be feasible.
I’ll check references for someone who wants to pressure wash my house. Never would I ask to see their ID. That’s weird.
If we have to pick sides, I'll take all the people who, through extreme hardship, come here and work their asses of to make their lives and the lives of their families better. Our country is a much better place with them here.
