Kuminga looks better than any of our role players and he was once the joke of the league because of Kerr. Go figure.

A good tidbit from the Ringer group chat podcast:

"The problem is that if it didn't feel like Ime Udoka's solution to a lot of problems wasn't turning to the nearest problem and calling them a b****, we might be in a more interesting place with this series."

I like Ime. I acknowledge that motivation is a very large part of a coach's job. But he has to do more. He has to run a real offense. Hopefully he doesn't have to be replaced for that to happen but if he really is just that stubborn, I'd welcome Kerr or whomever else.

Seems apt! And it’s a sad state of affairs when this is how we view him.

    LOL

Y’all already forgot how garbage the Warriors offense looks when Steph is out?

even when KD was in GS, when Steph was injured, they looked like a regular team

Kerr ain’t doing sh*t with freaking Amen Thompson and Sengun as 2 of his best offensive weapons

what has he done without Butler? What has he done without Thompson?

Many of you put too much emphasis on coaching. Coaches need players to execute. Players need coaches to maximize their skills and talent. Not everything is on the coach. At the end of the day it’s a player’s brain hands and feet that puts the ball in the bucket not coaching

I'm not a giant grudge-holder. I mean, if JD Vance can be Trump's VP ("I'm a never-Trumper; he's America's Hitler"), or even Kamala to Biden ("I don't think you're a racist, but you kinda are") then I guess I could hypothetically tolerate the idea of Steve Kerr as HC in Houston.

But Steve Kerr's Warriors got away with so much b.s. over the years thanks to their popularity / dynasty status, and he mocked the Rockets, joking about Harden flopping in the series (and why wouldn't he try to get a call, with the Warriors jumping into our shooters' space and the refs looking the other way) that we were winning until CP3's hammy and the refs stepped in (having been a player on Jordan's Bulls, Kerr has been on the favorable end of a whistle very often).

Come to think of it? Grudge held. I don't think of him. But as HC, here, again, hypothetically? F*** that puto.

Obvious Kerr is a HOFer, but our problems run so much deeper than our coach. Yes Ime needs to go, but so does the front office. Stone doesn’t get to stay while ushering in his 3rd head coach. That’s madness. I can’t support a coaching change without a front office change. As far as I’m concerned, Ime and Stone are tethered together to the ship. If the ship goes down both must go with it. A new coach deserves a GM they can trust and have a shared vision for the team (and visa versa).
