    France cleared waivers and was sent to AAA so this move worked out for Houston.

    JP looked like he lost some weight this off season, I am sure he will be back, at this rate with all the injuries, everyone will make a stop

    JP has been released twice already and he's so crappy he's cleared waivers each time.

    JP is a perfectly good JAG

    He is necessary and a better option than many (and worse than others) until some of the actual MLB guys get healthy.

    He also fills out the veteran pitcher on the minor league staff that can help the young prospects as they come up through the ranks,

    I mean 29 other teams have passed on him multiple times and we're not even keeping him on a catastrophically bad pitching staff starving for even moderately competent pitching.

    Not sure what your definition of JAG is, but I would be hard pressed to even call him that at this point. If he can't get regular innings on THIS staff, when will he?
