And now you are paying "highest $$$" on the 5th year, which you didn't have to. Hate him all you want, wish him to fail all you like. But if he does well, then you have messed up chemistry, cause friction when it is not needed. And say he fails bad, all you get to do is say, I told you so. Sure, not your money but for a QB that is not league worst, have shown potential and is the best option for this team, right now, with this defense, not a good management decision to make.
