Amen and amen. A professional "hype machine" doesn't win anything. Great teams do. And, great teams have great QB's. We don't have one. At present. Never, never, never reward bad performances. CJ must have a career year.
Ah yes, bet your best "bet" in decades will go bad and save the team money. You don't pick up the 5th year, that absolutely shown you do not trust the player and regardless of how you feel, that would be the last thing you want now. And you cannot pick-up the 5th year later, you have franchise tags then. So, say you don't pick up, he balls out, team wins Super Bowl, now he is a free agent unless you tag him. And now you are paying "highest $$$" on the 5th year, which you didn't have to. Hate him all you want, wish him to fail all you like. But if he does well, then you have messed up chemistry, cause friction when it is not needed. And say he fails bad, all you get to do is say, I told you so. Sure, not your money but for a QB that is not league worst, have shown potential and is the best option for this team, right now, with this defense, not a good management decision to make. And no, you are not trading all your picks for the next 3 years for Josh Allen. Doesn't work that way. Takes 2 to tangle.
For the record I dont hate CJ or want him to fail. Like you said the franchise tag would be available and if the Texans win the SB then franchise him and sign him to a new deal.
It's the second time he's been wearing the Astros cap, sounds like he is all business, no more games. He's locked in.
I don't even think he likes Houston. He loves LA. He wasn't rocking Houston stuff until he wants an extension.
This Vrabel ish is getting wild.... now the questions about the paternity of her son also named Michael...
He got roasted on Social Media from the mariners hat, I think his agent ordered him 100 colorways of the H hat lol.
