Arrighetti is one of the few guys who I feel could make a significant impact towards a possible season turnaround. Won't feel the season is saved or anything, but another good start would at least give me some optimism for the pitching staff. TBD scrubs, don't really give AF and have no real hope for them.
Once again we play the Cleveland Gourdians (aka Pumpkins). I survive the current Astros by checking the final score first and only checking out the highlights if they win. I just don't have it in me to focus on misery anymore.
Cleveland, with a sub $100M payroll, are in first place without even breaking a sweat after going on a miracle run to clinch the division last season. Meanwhile, the Astros with a $233M payroll, are in last place with the worst pitching staff in baseball. Baseball can be a ***** sometimes, eh?
I think Spaghetti can get it done but then 2 TBD games will be losses. RussE just posted the weather in Cleveland and DAM, that's cold AF (for me at least) How many losses will it take to get rid of Joe? We need some new blood and a new voice
I think Jim Crane went on some exotic vacation and inappropriately pocketed an ancient artifact as a souvenir and unwittingly unleashed a curse. Even Lil Nick Allen isn’t safe.
