Newsflash idiot..We're not THAT much more talented than our counterparts, especially with injuries to 2. How many more wins would your version of a better coach get this roster?

Once we didn’t make a move for a point guard at the deadline I knew we weren’t serious about winning. If they don’t care why should I?!?! Smh

They really are. A competent coach makes this a 60 win team and a championship contender.... and all that would take would be winning half of the games Ime lost 4th quarter leads.

What did you expect? Stone is just a former lawyer thrown head first into a rebuild that he’s clearly incapable of. The guy’s vision was a KPJ + JG for god’s sake. He doesn’t have the connections to execute a trade or the bball feel to build a roster that fits together. He has an incredibly low tolerance for critique to boot which is something they share w Udoka actually.

Then you have Udoka who surrounded himself with his cronies all the way from the coaching staff to players. Our coaching staff are all his buddies, Fred isn’t getting this much money or being treated as a franchise player or KD doesn’t get this much leeway and influence anywhere else. There’s no one at the helm to right this ship, no wonder we look as rudderless, cause we are.

A 60 win team with NO FVV, 37 year old KD & starting center who doesn't play defense? Lmaoooooo. So basically you feel we should be where the OKC is?

60 win was within reach, hadn't they blown so many games against .500 teams and other teams. Two games against the tanking Kings, the game against the Bulls, Pelicans, the two home winnable games against the Lakers, Twolves, Blazers. All these games the Rockets were up in the fourth before chocking it away. 59-60 win was within reach however they are not contending team even with a good coach due to Fred and Adams.

Love it when our ownership quits on the team halfway through the season, makes no moves and says “maybe it just isn’t our year”. As fans, where does that leave us?

In hindsight If there’s any criticism on management it should be drafting Sengun then making him the main hub of the offense for the first 2 Udoka years and now a secondary hub to Durant. Likely they thought he had unique skills and could be a Jokic like player. I can see the logic of taking a shot at developing this player and seeing what happens. The only issue is the man can’t shoot more than 12 ft. Jokic always had a longer midrange shot. This is on management.

I also thought drafting Sheppard was odd especially when they already had plans to trade Green in 2024. They had no contingency plan at 2 guard and no one on the roster besides Amen that could create and get to the paint.

Besides these I just think this team has had a slew of bad luck in the draft with Stone wanting Cade. Then a weak draft with Jabari (Jalen Williams was there) but again Smith was highly touted by scouts. Then the Wemby rigged draft.

In the end it’s simple. 2 non 3 pt shooting players can’t be part of your big 3 or main scorers. No teams in the NBA play like this. None.

You know it’s bad when everyone in the fanbase is in agreement on how **** this front office and coaching staff is. Real fans, player-only fans.. everyone.

But all is well. The front office believes we are on OKC’s level when Fred and Adams return; two 30 year olds coming off major injuries.

They’re really going to waste another year of our time and money with this garbage product.

It took the Bulls over a decade to accept tanking and fire their GM, we are in for a long slump, I can tell you that.

Well, let's all go eat at Tilman's restaurants so he can afford to fire Udoka and Stone?

    Anyone?

    Is this thing on?

Apparently, the plan was to groom Amen to be the future franchise PG, (@Hemingway's wet dream :D) learning the ropes playing alongside FVV. So they were going to have a franchise center and a franchise PG both of whom couldn't shoot. They needed to draft someone who could shoot and Reed was the best shooter in his draft class.

The puzzling thing is that Stone could have got shooters through trade and/or FA signing. So he went out to get Okogie (extremely limited offense) and DFS (damaged). Capela is another headscratcher. Stone probably thought he was the insurance for Adams' precarious health. But Udoka never really trusts Capela, hardly plays him major minutes even after Adam went down. That another disconnect between the coach and the GM.

Stone seems to be undecided whether he should cater to all of Udoka's wishes in acquiring players or force Udoka to accept his vision for the team. It ends up something like a hybrid that has no identity.

Considering how many double digit 4th quarter leads were blown? Probably at least 5 more meaningful wins.

He could shoot from 12 feet out... Euroball this past offseason proved that. That is only if Ime doesn't curse him out and bench him everytime he misses an open 3, which statistically will happen even to the Currys in the world. Ime is not a confidence/morale boosting coach.
