Nope you know he’s gonna show up for 1 more game and his fans are gonna come right back in here and say I told you so.
Caruso and the rest of the Thunder figured out they can move the Overton Window for fouling - if all 9 rotation players foul all the time then the officials can't call every one, they'd all be out of the game - and the bar gets moved up. This is a deliberate team concept by OKC (im sure the Rockets & others copy it too)
Lol you people bashed JG because he performed bad against OKC? Go check Luca Doncic, Jamal Murray and Deni Avdija's stats against OKC this season. OKC has one of the best perimeter defense in the league .Your goat KD even had a 7/23 game against OKC.
I‘m talking about several latest comments in this thread, read the context before venting your negative emotions.
To Jalen Green defense, the Suns have zero chance of beating OKC unless crazy injuries start happening (similar to our situation with the Rockets)...I won't put any expectation on him to ball out. I chuckle when people say "we gave up on Jalen Green too early" or "we made a bad trade" after he scores over 30pts a couple of games.
I love the fact you tell me to read the context, whilst failing to understand the context of my reply. I knew it would go over the head of you.
Exactly. They are not moving on to the 2nd round unless something catastrophic happens to OKC. That being said, Jalen had 1 good game out of seven last year against GSW. He's bound to have another or even two where all his fans are going to be claiming the Rockets made a mistake by trading him. Honestly, they sound pretty much like Suns fans at this point. They should do like Lebron fans and just move team to team with him and just give up their fandom, just like Apachewarrior did while claiming Jalen was the next MJ and that we would regret the trade forever . As for the rest of us, actual Rockets fans, we would love the GARM pollution to stop with Dish content. Don't ya'll JOFs have plenty of Sengun hate threads to keep you posting in the GARM?
Yep. @ApacheWarrior left because he had a meltdown after we traded Jalen, claimed he would be the next MJ and we would regret trading him, and then proceeded to become a Suns fan, only coming back to troll a couple of times. Mind you, he said he had been a Rockets fan for decades, 50 if I recall correctly, and still left to be a player only fan for, of all people, Jalen. At least he had the decency to leave, unlike the JOFs left in the GARM.
People like Down syndrome sniper classify folks who have the ability to actually think rationally as "JOF's". I don't even know if there's any noticeable irrational JG fans in this forum.
I only consider it a bad trade since we added an aging star, yet the Rockets' 2025-26 record was eerily similar to their previous season. Meanwhile the suns were also able to make it into the playoffs. Post durant, u just got a glimpse of it Lakers game 1. Durant is a bandaid to all the glaring problems that our team has. We were not a star away from winning it all and we panicked. Watch us swing and try get giannis or something stupid during the off season since durant puts us on a timer.
You had me in the first half, not gonna lie. Then you went and said what you said at the end and any shred of credibility you had went out the window.
Probably when Ime gets his head out his ass plays some guys who can actually shoot and puts Sengun on the block and high post instead of three point line. Sengun was very disappointing in game 1 but our scheme didn’t help at all. Letting him operate from that far away from the basket so he could get double and tripled team every time he drives while no one cuts. Sengun and Jalen aren’t really comparable. Sengun needs to be utilized as a passer to set up his offense and the rockets just play 2 or 3 guys who don’t even need to be guarded and have him operate from 3 point line. I don’t expect Sengun to score 30 but for him to get less than 10 assists when KD is out means something went incredibly wrong.
