We had a chance to sign harden without gutting the team, we had the money to out
right sign him, the money we signed FVV for we could had gave to harden.. Ime ****ing rejected any chance of harden coming back and he was traded to the clippers.

Cater their offense to a fastbreak, run and gun type so attack before they are setup in the half-court and run good sets to get the right guys in their spots. Tari can shoot a 3, Jabari can shoot a 3, Reed can definitely shoot a 3 so make sure those are surrounding Sengun for most of the night and we're all good.

But obviously, Stone and Ime made a lot of terrible mistakes that were stupid from the start in signing Capela - out of shape or fat, pick your poison, but a non-shooting big regardless - on top of having Adams and then DFS. I knew he was bad, but not this bad. Okogie was a last option and turned out to be the best one. You literally have Jeff Green, a very good 3pt shooter on the bench and refuse to play him. Instead, he's acting like it's all good to have a line-up out there with Capela, Tate, Aaron Holiday, Amen & Tari / Jabari.

It's both the roster and the coach, but when the coach dictates who he wants and Stone doesn't honor his own name, then we look at Ime for now and deal with Stone later.

Yeah the main issue is the lack of a true point guard and it's affecting everyone's game. Fred's injury was the worst thing that could've happened to them especially for Sengun and Amen. Their roles have changed drastically and they couldn't adjust to it.

This has been brought up by @Nook but Stone is just an okay GM, He does some good and does some bad, but Stone is a lawyer he is not going to take big risks... Stone is generally scared to make big decisions very good or very bad... he rather go with the most safest option.. Stone should had made the decision to pick Harden over FVV and told Ime that he needs to figure it out because Harden gives our young core the best chance to win now and also develop over just agreeing with what Ime wanted and assume he was right in who should be on his roster.

Wanted Fred VanVleet over James Harden.

James Harden wanted to get back to Houston twice. Ime Udoka rejected James Harden twice.

James Harden is fools gold. James Harden should be rejected. After a team gets burned to the ground, it's always JH that is standing over the pile of ashes and smiling. F James Harden. Let it go.

FVV would make this current team better. Losing him was a big problem. The fact that the team make no moves to supplement him isn't FVV's fault.

As far as Ime's coaching goes, if dudes want to be alpha dogs, you gotta hit shots.

Alp needs to play better (6-19 fg, and 0-2 from the FT line?)
Amen needs to play better. (7-18 fg, and 3-6 from the FT line?!)
Jabari needs to play better. (5-12 fg)
Reed needs to play better. (6-20 fg and 5-15 from 3?!)

They played like crap. Ime ain't perfect, but he's not the one taking shots. The players need to play better and hit shots.

James harden has been a winner in every single place he left and he has helped young playersbe better, maxey literally said he develop the way he did because harden was there, if you can't see that harden would had been the best thing for our young core then you're not leaving in reality.

As I said no teams in the league have 2 of 3 of their “big 3” who can’t shoot more than 12 ft. No teams run their offense through a main hub who can’t stretch defenses. You all keep whining and complaining about Udoka but what you’re demanding is miracle work. It would be a miracle to win a series against top teams with this current roster. No coach can somehow make them champions when the construction is flawed. That’s nothing short of a miracle and a pipe dream.

Harden raises the ceiling of guys around him even now, let alone back in the day when he was literally having the Rockets call guys off the couch like Gerald Green and Kenneth Faried & making them into NBA rotation players on contending teams

Jarrett Allen was getting benched in Cleveland until Harden got there. Harden dropped into this year's team ahead of Fred would absolutely make them a better team - Ime didn't want it, so it didn't happen

This is when you need to have a real NBA GM that will tell a coach he will get the best player possible and I don't care what you want your job is to coach the players I get for you, but Stone to damn scared to be a men about roster construction.

Hell, he could have told Ime piss off on the DFS signing and went out and got Ty Jerome or Nickeil Alexander-Walker for a more balanced roster.

Is Harden injured or his ego bruised yet during the game? Just curious

It's not the right decision it will never be the right decision, harden with the young core is 100x better than FVV,
