They know the rockets can’t shoot and will let the rockets take open shots because they don’t believe it will be able to beat them

    How can Ime fix that?

He can’t. Stone left him with a flawed roster. The fact that a roster with this many flaws to be exploited can compete makes him fireable.

Play the guys that can shoot.......DFS over Tate, Play Tari in the corner over Okogie, put Jabari in the corner - we shot 33% from 3.......we are going to have to hit 3s to win, the Lakers will double the ball and pack the paint...we need to hit that corner 3.

Ime is the one telling Stone what to do with the roster - reject Harden, sign DFS, etc

Ime built a roster full of guys like himself (SCRUBS!) @DaDakota

We are stuck with this fcktard coach, playing quasi-gm and his 1960s offense.

    Ime will play 5 rebounders.

He did tons of work to get those rebounders.

    I almost forget DFS.
He should have been a Lakers.
Stone thought he got a steal from them. Lol

Jeff Green over Tate. Match old with old.

I usually have a lot of criticism towards Ime, but this one’s on our roster. When you get open shots - you need to make them.
Without kd, we are much more limited than Lakers without Luka and Reaves, apparently..

We really don't have a consistent shooter other than KD. Jabari's shots are very flat, Amen's shooting form is poor and his shots are flat. Tari's form is decent, but he's streaky. Reed has to shoot from the logo because he'd otherwise get blocked which is not sustainable. He's also pretty streaky. Okogie is a career 30% shooter from the perimeter. Sengun can't shoot. You've KD and that's really it. Meanwhile, they have guys you absolutely cannot leave open like Rui and Kennard. LeBron is a respectable 3point shooter as well. If Doncic returns, it's a wrap.

This team has too many critical flaws and no cohesion. We don't even have a consistently working two man game between any two players. Sengun-Reed works for a week and then they don't see the court together for more than a few minutes the next week so they aren't even given a chance to build any chemistry. They played 70 sth games together but you rarely see them on the same page. Reed almost never runs pnr with him. The only guy that consistently does is KD. Amen-Sengun two man game is very one-sided. There are too many low-IQ, high-energy players. I mean it's depressing. This is an awfully constructed team. Amen, Sengun, and Reed would look great individually on different teams, but they're playing for a coach who doesn't understand or utilize their strengths. They need to leave if Ime stays.

    Ime builds the roster.

    He ever declined James Harden.

Ime wants defensive forwards and rebounders.

You are correct, I’m not arguing with that - obviously, the moves that Stone made are aligned with Ime’s philosophy. You could just smell it in Josh’s signing. But on the other hand, Ime can’t make open shots for our guys. I think that game 1 loss holds a statistical abnormalities that won’t happen again - we had like 90+ attempts vs. what, 65 by the Lakers? Even without kd, if we get these many shots next time, they have to fall with slightly better accuracy, and we can win it.
But again - I do recognise that our offense is awful, and clearly Ime got some responsibility as he influences the decision making on who we sign.

If KD can't go again, I would start Reed and Holiday. Okogie had the worst plus-minus on the team tonight - he wasn't slowing anyone down. I'd rather put as much shooting around Sengun and Amen as possible to open up space for them.

Since when does Ime own this team? Fertitta and son are the decision makers. If people are unhappy with Stone or ime, just remember that Fertitta and son are the enablers. Fertitta and son control everything.

You're being dumb, Ime makes all decisions with his roster it has been said by insider on here Stone wanted harden back and harden himself wanted to play for the rockets again, but Ime hates harden from the days they were together on the nets and told Stone he doesn't want to coach harden and Stone went after plays ime said he wants and need.

Amen has no virtual go to move other than running to the Dunker's spot.

Alperen's post game is also not fire proof any longer......

You can only hope that Bari and Reed saves you from the 3 .....which is ridiculous......

I believe you got one detail a tad wrong, Ime did speak to Harden personally and told him to look for places that need him more and that they have Fred......

It might be the same for some posters but believing in Fred over Harden is not the same as hating Harden.

I believe it was also reported like that.
