Sengun is limited physically. He can’t always get his shot off. That’s never going to change. Jokic and Olajuwon have and had counters that could not be altered. He is what he is. There’s no magical upgrade coming. He could add a jumper but he will always be limited in the post against length due to a limitation.
Luis Scola with a twist... more athleticism. He plays hard but he needs Adams next to him to look great. I was hoping Capela could step up.
I was already done with Sengun this season, this is only confirming it. Way too many holes in his supporting game to be neutralized offensively like he is. If he were amazing you could tailor a team to cover for his other deficiencies, but he isn't, not even close.

Sengun had a bad game yesterday, no question. But this wasn’t all on him. The Lakers completely disrespected the 3pt line. Hard to run anything from the top when the paint looks like rush hour traffic. Maybe try moving him to the post near the baseline?
