ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Lakers 4/18/2026 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 1)

Ime is completely underutilizing his elite skill with non-stop, sandlot ISO basketball. Look at the Lakers, they have more baked into their offense that gets people open playing off-the-ball. The Rockets are just dumb.

 

Sigh, this is really going to be a first round exit. People laughed when I said Rui is not that much worse than Jabari, but he really isn’t. Rui is a good player. The Lakers have good players.

 

Sengun is at the 3 point line because it's where he's supposed to be on the play. I agree that he doesn't always fight hard enough on the block, but these plays aren't being called for him to be down there to even give him a chance.

He likes to play Capela with Reed because Capela sets better screens and is better defensively.

I think Ime is terrified of playing both at the same time unless the team has a comfy lead.
