Sounds harsh, but some things need to be done in the offseason to get us back on track. 1) Fire the lawyer abd bring in a real GM 2) Trade Durant while we can still get something for him. No team will be stupid enough to give a 23 year old future star, a lotto pick, Dillon Brooks, and 5 second rounders….but maybe we can get something of value. Lastly, quit with this dream that 33 year old slow Fred is going to come back and take us to the promiseland as a slow aging team in the West.
Why does everyone blame Ime and Stone, but Patrick Fertitta gets a free pass. Here is his official bio from the media guide. Patrick Fertitta serves as an Alternate Governor for the Houston Rockets, playing an active role in both the business and basketball operations of the organization. He works closely with President of Business Operations Gretchen Sheirr on strategic initiatives including marketing, branding, and fan engagement, while also collaborating with General Manager Rafael Stone on roster construction and team development. Yes, he collaborates with Stone on roster construction and team development. Furthermore, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern California, so you know he’s super smart. Or, maybe he’s not so smart and he’s the big problem. Maybe Stone is just a figure head and future fall guy for when things go bad. If you think about it, it all makes sense. Tilman won’t want to blame someone named Fertitta when the team struggles.
If we don't win a championship and green continues to improve and become a star it's a waste you're looking at things right now.
It'll take a lot more than a random hot game against a 10 seed in a play in game to put the draft bust on a star trajectory.
Clutchfans like to hate on players. It's sad. I'm glad Jalen is gone, but don't hate him as long as he is not playing us, he can have all the success in the world.
Exactly. Why hate Jalen when he just helped ensure the playoffs are not a thing for GSW this year? We should be celebrating him for doing that. Now, the Jordan/Kobe comparison? That's just delusional, but we all know how Clutchfans posters IQ can be at times. He will develop into a good player, but never reach those heights. People need to look at what Kobe and Jordan did their first 5 years of their career when playing in a time that getting 80-90 points a game was common because people were beaten up like men, not getting the sissy whistle calls players get for flopping nowadays. Trading him for KD? 100 out of a 100, everytime. When you have a chance, you go for it.
I can’t understand real rockets fans actively rooting against Jalen. The kid worked hard here and tried his best. He’s a good kid. He was mismanaged through his first couple of seasons. The talent was clear but he just wasn’t shooting well enough or consistent enough. Given the $36 mil per yr contract I was ready to move off him. I wanted to trade Jalen. The contract was a big factor. He played well in yr 4, but I don’t think he’s a starter until he can shoot at least league average for an entire season. I’m happy for his success. I don’t understand why rockets fans would wish Jalen ill.
Rooting for a draft bust after the team dumps them is irrational, especially when the Rockets own an unprotected Suns 2027 first. For the most part, Jalen fanbois are not Rockets fans, they are weirdos that have crushes on individual players.
Jalen Green didn’t lead anyone to the playoffs at all. Durant led the team to same record inspire of having 60 mil in deadcap. Do you know what the teams record was last season without Vanvleet? Add to that fact that this season there would be no adam’s to rebound the busts bricks.
Please look at that last few pages and you’ll see why exactly we hate Jalen. His fans are basically act like curry fans when the dude is just jr smith
Because of people like you who keep crying for him. He’s not a rocket anymore. I don’t care about him. If you like him sm, go watch the suns.
