Jalen has talent he is just extremely streaky. His situational awareness needs to improve. By his late 20s he will be a much more consistent player.

Jalen was Jalen. The gameplan Phoenix had and executed against GSW was flawlessly executed . I said last May that Jalen had a below average system but the bigger issue for it was Ime. GSW implore the same same strategy versus Green the second half and he made the same decision tk pass the ball to his open teammates and not force the issues the suns other players actually made the right lays and open shots. The rocks last April could win 4 on 3. That’s not Jalen’s fault. The bigger issue for that was the spacing. The Warriors would blitz Jalen the perimter and the other 4 players didn’t react the right way. They didn’t space out to make to hard for the scrambling warriors to recover. It just bad coaching.
Durant didn't lead his team to the playoffs last year......... They went 36-46, with Dillon and Jalen they went 45-37 and reignited their future because Jalen isn't even 25....... Too late damage done as Stone/Ime ruined what was a very promising future by giving Jalen and Whitmore away ((i.e., offensive talent) for a soon to be 38 year old who they are killing by playing 38 minutes a game and who’ll be out of the league in a few years. You can’t teach stupidity. Would rather have Green, Whitmore, and the top 3 pick in this year’s draft that Stone inexplicably gave away, but instead we’ll be taking on the OKCs, Spurs, T-Wolves, Nuggets of the future with 33 year old Fred and 38 year old Durant. That’ll win us a bunch of championships!!!
