Imagine Chicago trading MJ in year 4…. Imagine LA trading Kobe in year 4…. The only way this trade will payoff is if we win a championship in the next 2 years. You NEVER trade a talented 23 year old for a 37 year old. This trade will haunt Houston for years to come.
Imagine LA trading D'Angelo Russell year 3. That's the accurate comparison and the only one realistic.
People need to chill with the non stop ****ing hating I was not a fan and think he’s too mentally weak…but now he’s off the team and it’s not our problem following him around for every bad game just makes us look like losers he did his thing in their most important RS game of the year and sent the warriors packing. people need to lay off
We've all seen Jalen have these games before. He dropped 38 on the Warriors last year. Consistency has always been his problem.
Extremely weird how much hate he continues to get lol I always found it interesting when people say he is mentally weak, I never really got that impression and always looked at it as a skill issue for him.
People look at high variance JG going....checks notes....8/14 from 3 and 14/20 from the field and still long for that? Yall the type of dudes that date women that show up to your work asking why the receptionist was looking at you like that.
Seriously the core of haters that somehow persists to this day is weird I liked Jalen - ultimately his trajectory doesn't seem good enough to be a high usage lead guard in the NBA (the margins are very fine, a few % points better finishing or shooting and he's a 5 time all star) He clearly wanted to stay in Houston and left on good terms - he wasn't a malcontent or a scumbag (that we know of ) like some of his former teammates. Wish him success in basketball and parenthood
He played 40 minutes. 40 minutes of intense playoff basketball mind you! And he didn't get to the free throw line a single time. How is that even possible? I don't get why he doesn't get to the line more. One day he will, and it's going to bump his game up to another level. He's still an incomplete player. I'm happy for him and I'm happy for Phoenix. I never liked the trade and I still don't. Hopefully Durant will be healthy for the playoffs and prove me wrong, but Jalen and Dillon balled out last night for a combined +43 in their biggest game of the season. That ain't bad!
Idk about all the Kobe and Jordan comments but i agree with not trading him a 37 year old. Especially a locker killer one.
One game vs a badly injured warriors team has you jalen gay fans fooled about this bust. Jalen is a trash can whose gonna get destroyed by okc in round 1 i can’t wait.
