Since Steve Kerr’s contract has expired, would you consider him as a coaching option for the Rockets? And Why?
No, he's a self-righteous prick who was consistently telling us the league favored Harden yet never once actually criticized Draymond, nor punished him and was completely comfortable with his guys injuring people out there while getting the favorable whistle to a degree I've rarely seen in the NBA.
Great playoff/tactical coach but at the same time he’s the worst I’ve ever seen at developing players. I think he would suit our team since we’re almost done with early career development but to be honest I just don’t like his personality. Would love to poach his lead offensive assistant to add to Ime’s staff.
Did he kick puppies or something? I mean our current coach cheated on his wife with an employee. Not sure what Kerr has done to be labeled as an awful person.
Prolly beat the Harden led Rockets. And let Mike punch him in the face. The thing about Kerr is that you know he has better connects inside the league and you get Assistant Coaches whose names are Atkinson, Mike Brown, Tery Stotts, much bigger names. Nothing against Royal Ivey and Ben Sullivan. I think it would be wiser to move East though, just to chill in his career.
If Kerr left the Bay Area it would only be for a cushy TV job or a ready-made contender. Regardless, Ime has a Bill O'Brien grip on this organization. Even a total collapse against the Lakers would only put him on notice, not cost him his job.
**** no. Yall want the coaching version of Scottie Pippen eh? "Steph go do stuff" only works when you have Steph Curry.
This is the way. I think it was Adam Clanton on a Clutch pod who pointed out the lack of experience on Ime's bench. Maybe if Ime had a deep bag like Rick Adelman he wouldn't need much help, but that is not the case.
Better coach than Udicker, but he is an even bigger dick. I expect he will be like Phil Jackson without Kobe/MJ, cooked.
