Granted I am probably closer to the guy who yells get off my lawn, but WTF is this supposed to be, is this gangster Tank mode? Dude, show us your working out or something and leave the gangster dance moves to guys like S Diggs........
What a stupid tweet. He's been doing way more strenuous stuff as part of his rehab that has been reported on frequently. I don't pretend to understand whatever the hell it is Tank is doing in this video, but if the insinuation is he's putting his rehab at risk, it's silly.
Fortunately, we can relax. Because that vid is none of this lol. They're doing the "stinky fish" dance trend thats been on Tiktok a while. Anyone can add their own touch to it, but it's like the most un-gangster silly thing. Any type of person is doing it. Then consider that this isn't the investment of energy like CJ Stroud traveling the globe with a-hole Micah Parsons, followed up with a podcast tour. This is like 3-5 minutes of down time, then back to life In fairness, we can always mock Tiktok itself for how silly senseless stupid it all is. I don't want my "mental lawn" subjected to this cringe. Just saying it's silly senseless stupid within time management
Tank`s last game was Dec 2024, so it's been a minute for the young man, I have my fingers and toes crossed that he is 75% of the old Tank. The young man has the skinniest legs of any WR I have ever seen. The fact that he not only had the HORRIFIC injury but that summer prior he was shot in the dam leg is remarkable he can walk at all
I will repeat what I have written numerous times: He is TOO SMALL for pro ball. Today's players are huge, fast, and strong. He would be great at flag football, but the current NFL is brutal. I wish him well. Nice kid. BUT, his chances of being permanently disabled are high.
Don't forget the gunshot was already during broken fibula recovery before that Personally, I more worry about Tank losing skills and effectiveness, than thinking he will keep getting dislocated snapped bones and shot at. It's that he got all of that lower limb carnage within 1 year. That just seems likely to take "something" away. Tank looks 13 years old, but he entered the league already older age. If Tank was 25, honestly I'd worry less. Since he'll be 27, its needing to consider how much more peak healing and development years are left. Will Tank stay agile, or will he hit a "running back" wall sooner than later Basically, a Nick Chubb analogy. Chubb is as built to last as anyone. Of course Chubb is 10 times more sturdy than Tank. But but it's more that Chubb's skills itself are injury zapped. I see Tank in a similar "injury zapped" not an injury magnet way
There will be several returns of Tank Dell. Each will feel great. 1. When he returns to the sideline. 2. When he's in uniform. 3. When he plays his first play back. 4. When he catches his first pass. 5. When he catches his first TD 6. When he's a top 3 target.
#6 may never happen. IMO, it is unrealistic to expect Tank will return to previous form. If he does and stays healthy, I'll be as happy as anyone else.
I seriously doubted he could get further than 1. But as you say, the further he makes it the happier I'll be.
Tank Dell is cherry on top. Texans will evaluate and if he has anything to offer then we will know beginning of the season. If he is able to play when season starts then I’m pretty confident by mid season we will know if he will ever be back to his prime.
