He also had a late start to spring training due to a minor injury then his child was born and set him back a little more. He needed at least 2 of those Sugar Land starts to ramp up to starter level workload. The extra year of control is real nice!

I'm pretty sure the HR projections don't account for the thin air of Colorado. A lot of balls don't get out of the stadium in models that absolutely would have gotten out in real life.
