Definitely The Pacing was just different than I expected PArticularly in contrast with something like Solo Leveling Rocket River
Catching up on some standout anime current or recent seasons. JJK Frieren To your Eternity And this one has been excellent so far Fate Strange Fake
today’s season finale of Jujutsu Kaisen might be the greatest thing I’ve ever seen anime-wise holy sh*t that was incredible
Going to watch but I’ll have cement that attack on titan is the greatest plot in all of writing. Rewatching it and damn the story is given away in the first episode. Such brilliant foreshadowing Where are you watching Jujitsu?
Crunchyroll or https://animetsu.net/ Hunter x Hunter is my personal greatest, but AOT is up there for sure…definitely top 5 for me
Waiting for Frieren and Jujutsu to get close to wrapping up to binge. Got the Chainsaw Man movie still on my wishlist to watch. But…. I Parry Everything has been a nice appetizer. Watching it on Hulu and it’s a pretty good show
I keep telling non-anime watchers that, and of course they don't believe me and won't give it a chance, but it's one of the best stories ever
Noticed the name of the first and last episode, the first scene of the show transitioning from one of the last scenes of you know who Not as layered but yo notice this when historia holds up the medal?
Dorohedoro and Daemons of the Shadow Realm Anybody else watching these? Daemons of the Shadow Realm is from the same person that made Fullmetal Alchemist (in my top 5 animes). The 1st episode was pretty good
I will have to check the Daemons. . . .The Dorohedoro it is ok I just finished OVERLORD - It is an interesting and strange one but i liked it Rocket River
I picked up a couple of Macross DX Chogokin toys(VF-1j, yf-29 isamu ver) on my last trip to Japan, so decided I should go back and start watching all of the Macross series. Originally watched Mac+ ~25 years ago, but didn't really have much exposure to everything else. Completed original SDFM and DYRL movie. Almost finished with Macross 7. If there's interest I can share more thoughts on them.
I think this should be a good list. An absolute beginner's guide to viewing Macross. : r/macross I think this is based on release order, but it does mention timelines in case you want to do it chronologically. Probably the main difference would just be to watch Macross Zero first I guess, since I think everything else generally matches.
I tried to watch season 3 of JJK. After watching S03E01, I felt completely lost. I don't remember what happened in season 2 so I watched a recap on YouTube. Watching that recap made me realize I barely know any of the plot and that I missed a movie, which is very plot relevant. So I guess I'm gonna rewatch from the beginning and try to pay attention to the plot this time.
Right? I have no idea what's going on still stuck on episode 2 in season 3. I didn't realize there was a movie either and it's relevant.
Had never heard of this until word of mouth. I had no idea and didn't expect this anime to be this good. After researching it, it's highly praised and some call it a masterpiece. Still getting through it and late to the party but it's a definite hidden gem for me. Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
