He never had the locker room, he is a loner in this. Now if u roll back, when was the last time you read about a KD team with seamless chemistry..... Like always never. He is a weapon for sure, but always the singular snake bomb. Grim reaper? Always alone.
He is in the MJ, Kobe mold of guy rather than the Lebron/Magic/Shaq tree. KD never said he was an inspiring leader. Neither were Kobe and MJ and nobody has any issue with those guys.
Ime has the ownership, locker room and FO wrapped around his fingers. The only one lost is himself during games. Hopefully they hire an offense assistant coach in the summer like Joe M.
You don't often hear about this team or the past couple of years teams actually having players that are close off the court (unless you count JG and JayGup) . All of the Harden teams had stories about the players off the court, we would get team plane group pics, stories from the broadcast team about players, we don't really see that anymore. Harden was very close to all players when he first came to Houston, was close to PJ, went to Astros games with Russ, Dwight would let Parsons borrow whatever cars he wanted because he was on that ridiculous rookie contract, CP had relationships with a lot of the guys, even the team w KJ the guys were pretty close, getting in fights at Miami strip clubs and other bonding experiences. Dillon was a true glue guy, I am sure the guys get along, but you don't hear the stories like before. I know Tari's first year a lot of the players would hang out together, go bowling etc. You don't see the closeness of past teams on display or mentioned to the public. Maybe they are all close and doing degenerate things together so they don't publicize it.
You joke but Ime creating bacterial cultures in the locker room is a major health hazard and could result in the Toyota center being shut down by the city health department

Theres also that picture of KD and Adams fishing. Jabari allegedly chained himself to KD on the hip during offseason. People think of everything and anything to discredit KD.
