Do not push Arrighetti. He did his job. He threw more pitches tonight than any of his minor league starts. Don’t risk injury or implosion. Get Weiss or Teng in there.

 

Diaz' swing is hard to watch.

 

Looks like they're going to see how he starts the inning. I understand both sides. One side wanting to protect him from injuries since it's his first start back. The other...being we have so little options we trust in that bullpen right now, that even getting possibly one more inning out of your starter could help things drastically.

 

Arrighetti pitching a hell of a game. Funny enough if he gave up 4 runs in 5 innings he'd still be considered our ace right now
